b1G just handed the ACC its arse and yet the ACC still has more rated teams....nice to Maryland sticking around. Who would've thought they'd be rated higher than Michigan or Michigan State. From the looks of things, they'll be in the mix in the b1G.

Ugh, that sucks. Maryland will lose a bunch of games too with Dez Wells being out. Damn. Oh well just keep on winning.
Nebraska loses by 10 to Creighton at home, Nebraska's new arena I'm told is the hardest place to play in the universe.
Gotta pat myself on the back calling the Huskers being one of the most overhyped teams ever coming into the year. A 19 win bubble team that has never won an NCAA tournament game starting the year ranked? Hilariously silly...oh but they brought back a high volume chucker? Still hilarious. The ESPN highlights of Iowa over UNC made me want to vomit. About 12 UNC baskets in a row, then Iowa apparently makes one shot to win the road game by 5 points. You'd have thought UNC won by 50 if they hadn't shown the final score.
How did Wichita State get ranked as high as 8 in the first place? At this point they only have one ranked team on their schedule all season and they already lost to them, #25 Utah. Wichita State should go down in the AP this week. N. Carolina dropped 7 spots last week with their loss to Butler. Iowa State should definitely leap frog over N. Carolina this week and Wichita State and those teams still wouldn't fall far. It isn't like ISU would be moving up so many spots for two wins (impressive wins by the way) but because so many teams plummeted in default.
Wichita State would only have to drop 4 spotsand N. Carolina one spot for ISU to come in at #12. Maybe ISU's two wins don't warrant jumping 8 spots but they can easily do that by other teams losses.
IMO there also is no way that Iowa will break the Top 25 with an ugly win over North Carolina as 23 teams received votes under the AP Top 25 last week 12 of them went undefeated.

Wichita State is one of the few backcourts I think could outproduce ours. VanVleet is the real deal and Baker is about as experienced a winner in college bball.
The ISU women played tough against #9 Illinois in the second round. They even went to extra points losing 27-25 in one set. I was very impressed, the women lead part of the time but just came up short. The games were free on line, glad I found it out in time.
I thought we fell out of that poll completely last week. Im assuming you speak of their top 25+1 poll.
Who in the hell voted for Oklahoma State? They just lost by 26 at South Carolina.
