I can't tell from your posts in this thread. Are you for or against suites?
He's against it. Though he'll leave early regardless

Yes, half of the lights are brighter then the others.
And the ceiling looks like ****
Hilton is Division 1 Power 5 level. Jack Trice is not. As others have noted, there are improvements that can be made but these things have little to do with who is coaching and the record. The end zone project has SOME to do with the attendance (which has been pretty good regardless of record).
Yes, we need to do something like Illinois is doing:

Hang more banners from the ceiling. That is all.
I dont see any room for suites. I guess we could get a bigger video board.
Hilton is somewhat unusual in that it has two concourses (outer and inner). Any sort of luxury suite wouldn't need to take out too many seats because the inner concourse is not needed. I like the idea to widen the outer concourse by moving the wall back and then using the rest of the space (plus maybe a couple rows, unfortunately) for a few luxury suites.
Hilton is great but saying "Don't change anything" is pretty shortsighted IMO. It's not some classic, historic arena from 1940 like Cameron Indoor that gets charm from its age. It's from the '70s, and it shows. We can keep everything that is great about it while still improving some of the things that could be improved.
I think it's a great feature of Hilton - one can walk the entire circumference of the interior seating area and still see the court. The inner concourse really doesn't do a whole lot for the arena other than encourage people to leave their seats early.

I don't think that's really a big positive. What's so great about that? It's not as important as something like a bunch of suites.
Flag Guy can't make it around the top now. Dude needs to start working out or he should lose his job. When we have an alumni game, will need a shorter concourse for Flag Guy to run around as he'll be too old to make it around the top.
