Is increasing yield really helping family farmers? Do you know what you are talking about? This isn't shallow wonk economics....this is about FAMILY farmers...stewards of the land and folks raising families.....not absentee land owners and getting another quarter pound of hog out of the same amount of feed, antibiotics, and energy in the corporate confinement. Don't be Hating....I just think Hayden--despite being our arch enemy for all those years....deserves respect and I think he respected the agricultural communities. America needs farmers bro.

yes, my family directly benefits from higher yields....more corn = more profit.....do you know what you are talking about?

Oh and I have a confinement building that is not owned by a corp, just me and my wife. I'd encourage you to come visit in January or July and see how comfortable our pigs are in the building.

U of I Doctor, Dr. Stuart Weinstein. did multiple surgery's on me and is the reason im not an invalid today.
a u of Iowa heart surgeon performed miracles on my father-in-law in '99

After being around a 12-hr surgery by that doctor (one of the best in the country) I was blown away... And I have since had trouble referring to chiropractors as "doctors" since

I'll second this one. Even as a clone fan, you had to just sit back and admire how the hawks defense played. It was a thing of beauty for many years.

KF and NP. They have had a consistent identity, they recruited tough kids who stayed in the program and those kids developed. No gadgets, no tricks or gimmicks.

I was a huge Bob Sanders fan when he was a Colt. Friggin' missile and laid his body out for the team on every play.

As an A-P Alum Aaron Kampman JD and Casey Wiegman are tops of the list, they have all given back so much to the community both before and after two tragedies. Outside of those two, I'll give a nod to Dallas Clark. I've listened to him speak a few times and he's always classy.

Did some work with Bobby Hanson and got along great with him.

Always liked Wade Lookingbill.

But I'll go with Mike Hornaday. Dude was only a walk on, but we worked together in a ******** for about two months and ever since we've become great friends and the guy has saved my life in several different ways. Hilarious dude. You may recognize him as "dated Jenni Garth once dude" from 90210, or maybe "dumb football player #792" from coach, or more recently "wacky forgetful dad" in some Casey's Puzza commercials and "laughing gambling guy" in some casino commercials.

Wade went way up in my book when he married a really great Cyclone.

Going off the record......Drew Tate. Many people say he was a ****, but I liked watching him play and liked the fire he played with. I also thought his visor was the coolest thing

Shonn Greene. Also thought it was impressive that from one year to the next he went from working at Home Depot or something like that, to being the best RB in the Big 10 then next year, to playing in the NFL the next.
