We are called lil bro all of the time but it seems to me that Iowa cares much more about ISU than we do about Iowa. I'll use the 10 texts I got from Hawk fans after the UNI loss as evidence as well.

I think it's funny. The worst are the whispering "Choose your adventure" @ ISU commercials aired during games, typically with a dorky ISU person whispering

fricking whispering. not exactly works in a loud sports bar or home party during a game.

Do sports bar owners during a televised ISU game demand every patron to stop talking, stop drinking, stop eating, to watch and hear the "Choose your adventure" whispering?

I completely disagree. I thought he was poking fun at the media that has been calling him a machine. I rather have them putting out videos like this anyday versus the CPR Era of having no clue what they are doing. I laughed and this video made me more hyped for the season.

Have you opened that thread? About 9500 of those posts are Hawk trolls or us making fun of Hawk trolls. There's a reason why the thread practically has died at this point after the Hawk Troll Sweep of 2015 happened.

Not quite. It's more like little brother talks a lot of smack (about how Iowa Stte is becoming the dominant in-state school- LOL), then big brother gets tired of it, punches him in the gut, and displays his dominance (12-0, Rose Bowl, etc).

I mostly just come here for the entertainment and comedic relief. I have never seen a group of people so haplessly optimistic. Jamie Pollard could hire someone who has never even seen a football before and the majority of the fan base would be predicting 7 wins and a bowl game the next season. Case in point- the ISU athletic department puts up a completely misleading and factually inaccurate info graphic and State fans lap it up like little kittens at a saucer of milk. It's entertaining.

The Iowa football team got tired of hearing smack from fans of a team that beats them pretty regularly, so they "decided" to go out and win 12 games to shut them up? That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Iowa's schedule was steaming pile of dog **** and that's why they won 12 games.

I love people that are comfortable in their own skin and can make fun of themselves. Coach Campbell seems to be that type of person. He's confident and has a great plan in place. He doesn't make apologies for what ISU isn't, he celebrates all the great things we are! The fact that folks at EIU are worried is just a bonus.

This is just silly. Nobody at Iowa is sweating. I love the Campbell hire, but until he steals recruits they want and also starts winning games, Iowa doesn't care.
