This team struggles to close out halves. A nonexistent front court and no reliable shooters and you aren't going to have a very good offense.

Not a lot of offensive imagination. Like Bowie flashing to the middle but didn't see too much of it.

Ive always thought the timeout thing was low hanging fruit for low iq fans. These guys know what to do. They justed didnt do it very well at the end.

Nothing like spending a night coaching 5th grade basketball and stressing ball movement and being productive with dribbles to come home and watching this terrible offense tonight. Love the defensive effort but this was a bad night.

KU, Baylor and West Virginia are going to make us their biatch this year. Those games will get ugly fast.

it is a long season. Lots of new players to integrate. Hopefully they can start working on the offensive end pretty soon in practice :)

Not buying this excuse. We have 4 key seniors back who are all starters and two SR transfers.

Our problems are:

-Huge hole left by missing out on key post targets for the last several years
-Horrible offensive movement and strategy at the end of games
-Bad 3 point shooting
-Bad FT shooting

Luckily 3 of those can be corrected.

When you have three guys standing at the top of the key, they aren't sure what to do with the ball and there is seven seconds left, you take a time out.

I get it that Cincy is a good team but there's no way they should've lost that game. Had the lead with the ball late in both regulation and OT and terrible offense/shot selection cost them.

I'm so tired of them settling for long jumpers late in games...did the exact same thing in the Gonzaga game. Attack the rim and try and draw fouls late in the game.

Losing by two to a top 10 team and by 1 in OT to a P5 team picked to win their league. We're ******. Call it all off. JFC. Our basketball fan base has become spoiled off of what amounts to very little in the grand scheme of things.
Gunner....I respect your opinion on this forum but Cincy is a 7-10 seed in the NCAA tournament at best. We are extremely limited offensively and I think we will need to see more Donovan Jackson in the next few weeks to take more of the playing time load off of Monte and Naz. Not sure why we are consistently going to pick and roll with Bowie when he isn't a threat to pick and pop.

Guys.... we do NOT even run an offense yet. Nothing. Prohm lets the guys free lance on their own. He's going to be putting the offense in later. That's according to Prohm himself.

Yes, it's dumb, but it is what it is.

Not gunna worry too much. They play like that against Tech at the end of the month, then I'll start freaking out.

That was not a really good team. I've seen this offense. This is McDermott 2.0 right now.

Oh simmer down. Houberg had some ****** games too.
