This team will make a run. Whether or not they can get over the hump, we'll see. But I would be very surprised if the first half goes as poorly as the first.

They'll miss a couple shots. We'll make a couple. That by itself changes the makeup of this thing.
Then they meet the noise.
Part of it is we have no answer for when they get the ball at the hoop, the other part of it is they're sinking low percentage 3s.
Feels a lot like the Virginia game last year. Hopefully they have one more 2nd half comeback left in them.
Why are people throwing in the towel? Have you ever watched ISU before? We had many comebacks before and while it sucks to be down 13; we were down more in the Phog.

This is a team where we should all be able to say "eh, they've done worse."
You're right. It's a heritage for this group.
It's too bad because our defense actually tightened up at the end of the half but they buried contested shots anyhow.
That would shock me since this team has shown this year they don't get blown out. I don't think this is over.
He's going against guys a lot bigger than him.
Purdue has like 15 assists on 17 makes. They're just the better team right now. Everyone needs to step up on both ends to have a chance.
Frustrating game but it's been a great season.
Few have given up. Most are just saying things have to change or it's been a nice season.
It's been a while since we had a bad half. That was a bad half. Can still get back in this, but we'll need a lot more ball movement than we've had and more disruption on defense.
They can when half their shots are uncontested layups. This is embarrassing.
So you think Purdue hasn't been efficient and precise with their ball movement, and more so than ISU?

Some of you spent so much time trashing the B1G in the in-state forums that you forgot their good teams are legit.
I strongly dislike Purdue...their fans reminded me of Hawkdom the other night...but was well aware of how hard of a match up they could be and add that they're hitting shots, and unfolds the current result.
Monte and the other seniors will not go down without a fight. They can win this, and I believe they will.
They made some contested shots, they also missed open looks. The thing is they are getting looks. We aren't and when we are we are missing.
Really wish we were in the NIT. I'd much rather be a #1 seed after they selected 70+ better teams for a real tourney. You must be proud. You're also a huge jack wagon, but that's exactly why you're posting here.
