I'd feel a lot better about this game if we didn't have that melt down right before the end of the half and were down by only 5 or so.

Offense looks a lot like it did mid season. Stagnant movement and iso jumpers.

That is partially due to Purdue being on fire preventing ISU to get out in transition.

Need to get some stops and get Deonte or someone besides Matt going.

We need to drive to the basket more and force the bigs to commit. We need active hands on defense. We need to hit the short range jump shots.

Wherever I go, there I am.
It's too bad because our defense actually tightened up at the end of the half but they buried contested shots anyhow.
Hopefully they don't continue the "out of their asses" shooting displayed at the end there and come back to earth. I don't think this ISU team will give up!! And, on cue, Sir Charles just confirmed that rumors of ISU's demise have been greatly exaggerated.

So you think Purdue hasn't been efficient and precise with their ball movement, and more so than ISU?

Care to share how many open shots ISU's had off the pass?

Some of you spent so much time trashing the B1G in the in-state forums that you forgot their good teams are legit.

I strongly dislike Purdue...their fans reminded me of Hawkdom the other night...but was well aware of how hard of a match up they could be and add that they're hitting shots, and unfolds the current result.
They've had some ball movement, they've also had a lot of I'm taller than you stuff too, and some tough contested shots.

We're getting beat at our own game right now by Purdue. They are playing faster than us, they are making way more 3's too. It's as ugly as it could possibly be, except for Matt of course.

I still feel like we can pull this out, but we have to start playing defense instead of constantly reaching, and on offense we have to MOVE and PASS the ball. Everyone is standing around and going 1 on 1.

I never should have poked fun of Haas earlier, he's hurting us. I can't see us playing worse than this in the 2nd half.

we don't play fast, that is a myth. look it up. We are efficient, but not fast. we don't not get that many possessions per game

Really wish we were in the NIT. I'd much rather be a #1 seed after they selected 70+ better teams for a real tourney. You must be proud. You're also a huge jack wagon, but that's exactly why you're posting here.

Now there's a high quality fan... you could at least wait for the end of the game for your damned negativity.

He's going against guys a lot bigger than him.

Purdue has like 15 assists on 17 makes. They're just the better team right now. Everyone needs to step up on both ends to have a chance.

Frustrating game but it's been a great season.

He's has gone up against bigger guys all year. That's not new. But for us to be successful in what we want to do, he had to be good. He's our wildcard.
