We must have been watching different games. In the game I watched, Burton was sleep-walking through the entire first half and the start of the second. He was a stationary object out there. We were playing 4 on 5. When Prohm (finally) sat him, we made a run and got back in the game. When Burton feels like playing, he dominates a game. When he was out there walking around, he was killing us. I will be super happy to no longer see him in a Cyclone uniform. It really makes me wonder about Prohm that he will leave a guy out there who isn't playing hard. There's no greater sin in basketball than not playing hard.

I think I speak for a lot of posters when I say that makes one of us.

Hats off to @CycloneRulzzz for all the efforts!

1) Love the seniors. Very proud of everything they gave throughout their careers. I'm also proud of the entire team this year. Looking forward to #7 next year!

2) Prohm... great job so far. Not easy to take over the program after Freddie left. Nice work with the players and getting to know them. Looking forward to the upcoming years.

3) Did Huggy Bear pick these refs? The officiating smelled of a Morgantown game.

4) It's a lot to ask ANY team in the big dance to comeback 19 down and win.... and we damn near did it! Bad luck (and refer to #3) in the waning minutes.

why do you think someone is a troll just because they post an opinion that doesn't agree with yours?

Well, in your case, you are a troll because #1) you have all of 17 posts to your name, and #2) I hadn't seen your name in a single one of the basketball threads until last night.

Hey, I got your pm about wanting to meet me face to face so that we could fight. You even offered to come out and meet me where I live. I replied back to you that I would be willing to split airfare for that. What do you think?

I don't think it's like Rhoads simply because in his first full season Prohm has landed one of the best point guards ISU has ever recruited and what appears to be a top 100 forward.

Rhoads was not a very good recruiter

Prohm did a great job adjusting things as season progressed

Prohm is a rhythm coach and sometime it takes him time to figure teams out. His first go around does not always turn out the best.
They just did not put enough pressure on Purdue on their offensive sets. They were cold to start which is fine and usually to get out of it you have to have crisp passes inside a long winding set. Instead they reverted to old habits from earlier in the year.

That clown offered to come fight you over Internet comment? Seems like a stable human being.

Opinions may vary. There is no doubt ISU made their run with Burton on the bench. The stat line says he finished with 4 rebounds. He shot 9 for 20. It's not like he hasn't gone into slumbers in games before. But, I guess it's easier to call people names than to engage in discussion.
