This is "one of those games" (and one of those weeks). If ISU has a chance to climb into the pool of bubble contention, it begins here. Why not steal a road win vs. a top 25, and see what happens?

Yep. They have a chance to steal one against a good team having a run of bad luck. It'd put them in pretty good position with TT coming to Ames on Saturday.

Hopefully the team can string together some wins, need to make up for those OT slip ups.

There are A LOT of those types of games on the schedule. But yes, lots of opportunities and this is one. Would be great to steal one here, and no reason that we can't. TCU is tougher than their Big 12 record of course, and this won't be easy.

I am predicting a huuuuge game from Wiggi tonight. Trae has had his top two games in conference play against TCU (39p, 14a; 43p, 11r). They struggled to guard Trae and I believe they will struggle to guard Wigginton.

Their offense is good so ISU will need to be focused on D to stay close in this one. Only reason KU won there and OU won there is that they outscored them. So they will probably need Babb, Jackson and Wigginton all to be hitting their shots tonight.

It's crazy that TCU is ranked in the top-25, and is tied for the bottom of the Big12. Goes to show how tough the Big12 is.

I haven't paid much attention to TCU yet so maybe I am missing something but I was wondering how they were still ranked this week with their conference record too. Even if you look at their non-conference schedule they really played nobody except for then ranked #22 Nevada.

Ouch. That sucks for them.

They made a good run without him at the end of last season so I'm not going say it changes things a lot for us. They were going to come out ornery tonight anyway and this will just give them more of a wounded animal attitude.

Alex Robinson is still a good point guard for them but in the limited TCU action I've seen this year he turns it over quite a bit
