That and the Coaches aren't allowed to speak on individual players until they sign anyways. If there is any question and we know there are a few with Leech (injury, team he is on, no AAU) that could prevent him from signing in Nov there should be any comments.
As was mentioned the staff had a similar situation with Talley last year. A contingent grad transfer commitment was rumored for weeks prior to him completing his courses. It took a while for his name to be leaked and even longer be confirmed. Prohm and his staff are pretty tight lipped compared to other programs.

How the heck did we find/recruit Talley, by the way, all the way out at ODU?

I'm all for it if ISU has built up enough of a brand that young men like Marcedus want to commit, but our staff still gets to be selective enough to wait for more information. Hopefully he get's healthy (or whatever is questionable) and he turns into a beast.

@Gunnerclone mentioned he had information that it wasn't health related and was discipline/academic or something that he needed to get taken care of similar to Lard when he was first recruited. Can you elaborate gunner?
I don’t want to speak for Gunner but wasn’t it posted that he got kicked out of school/off his team or something of that nature?

School can’t issue you apparel until you’re enrolled and on campus.
Could have sworn recruits were given some school apparel while on their official visits. Darius McNeill was always posting pictures of himself wearing the same ISU apparel that most of the players would wear.
