I am tempted to say there is no such thing as a bad drive on Maui - well except if your hotel is in Hana. ;) Even driving 30 minutes - you'll be in paradise!

We were staying in Kihei last time we were there and even with road construction around that area the drive up to Lahaina wasn't bad.
the road to ******* hana. That drive man. Absolutely beautiful but a ***** of a trek. It is right up there on roads in the world I would recommend to anyone, but never do again, with the drive from Denver to Phoenix through the Rockies and down through Moab/Monument Valley Utah.

When are you guys flying in and flying out? Which airport?

I am tempted to go, even if we are doing a Hawaii vacation in a few weeks...

I have driven all of those and would do them again (have done Hana twice) but I do enjoy driving.

Flying in on the 14th and out on the 24th. Wanted to do the 5k and pre parties before the tourney starts on that Sunday. Flying into OGG from LAX I believe, definitely OGG but I forget my connecting airport at the moment.

Some of the most beautiful scenery driving you can find in the United States, if not the world.
Did this little side excursion off of the route from Arches to Monument Valley.

Sorry about the detour off topic, but as you can see, I like scenic detours.

We did that as well!

Man, that and Monument Valley we breathtaking. Stopped at Rock Door Mesa as well, which was a bit further out than we expected, but definitely worth it. I was driving and we had to decide between Valley of the Gods and The 4 Corners, and I made the split decision to stick going towards VoG cause I figured we'd get to The 4 Corners and be upset that it is just that haha, and boy am I glad we did.

But yea, end detour haha. Just go to Utah and see its beauty people, you won't regret it.

I didn't know anything about VotG but came over a rise and saw a dirt road heading down that looked like it had a park sign at the bottom of it so I took a chance. It was the east entrance and it was definitely the highlight of the trip.

Yeah, I was with my mother on this trip and she was the one who knew about VotG, I was all about going to Monument Valley. We had done a trip around to 4 National Parks in Utah a few years before we did this drive, and the only area we didn't get to previously was the southeast corner, so it was on our list of things to see.

Gee - it's usually ME that goes on side trips in threads! :D

We're at the Sheraton. I think the team and the ISU package people are there also; they were when I talked to Julie last December. There's always a possibility that will change, though.

Alright 'Zona it is. Actually a pretty good draw considering the turmoil Miller just endured last year. Miller did rebound after losing most of their blue chip recruits but it almost a totally new team that likely wont be fully gelled early in the year. Good opportunity to get a "National" win for the public perception early and I do expect them to be a quality win by tourney selection time.

I did a quick Google and found this short analysis of Arizona's roster as of May they had 2 spots open at the time.

POINT GUARDS
Brandon Williams, Fr., 6-1, 185, Encino, California
Officially committed Saturday after initially decommitting from UA on March 2. Quick point guard who averaged 24.7 points as a senior at Crespi High.

Justin Coleman, Sr., 5-10, 170, Birmingham, Alabama
Speedy veteran played power conference ball for two seasons at Alabama.

Alex Barcello, So., 6-2, 180, Chandler
Fell out of the rotation as a freshman in part due to Allonzo Trier’s ability to play point guard on top of shooting guard.

WINGS
Devonaire Doutrive, Fr., 6-4, 170, Los Angeles
Versatile combo guard was first to join UA’s new 2018 recruiting class.

Dylan Smith, Jr., 6-5, 170, Mobile, Alabama
Shooter averaged only 4.3 points last season but could be major factor now.

Brandon Randolph, So., 6-6, 175, Yonkers, New York
Started four games and showed early promise as an aggressive scorer as a freshman.

Emmanuel Akot, So. 6-7, 200, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Versatile, rangy wing has loads of upside on both ends of the floor.

Omar Thielemans, Fr., 6-7, 200, Oostende, Belgium
European wing is a mystery but known for versatility and athleticism.

POSTS
Ira Lee, So., 6-7, 235, Los Angeles
Was a valued inside reserve as a freshman but only a limited factor after a late-season concussion.

Chase Jeter, Jr., 6-10, 230, Las Vegas
Duke transfer was highly regarded out of high school.

Ryan Luther, Sr., 6-9, 225, Gibsonia, Pennsylvania
Stretch forward was limited by foot injuries the past two seasons.
