Campbell is more than competent enough to be our OC. However, I fear hes overextending himself with how involved he is on both sides of the ball, with recruiting responsibilities to top it all off. Getting him some help with a quality OC should be a priority this offseason.

Know it's not his style but hope CMC rips their ass at halftime. Some of the most uninspired play I've seen in quite sometime. Iowa State looks like they don't want to be on the field today.

I think it IS his style but he calls it "challenging them" not ripping their asses open. You HAVE seen him tear a few open on the sideline... Looking at YOU good-jones...

Just like Jay Jordan pointed out in his offensive assessment (UT game) - Purdy failed to hit a sure 1st down to Montgomery on 3rd down - David was standing there, wide open, for 2-3 seconds and Purdy refuses to make that pass. He's a very good QB, but he still too often tries for the homerun, rather than make the "sure" pass (or throw it away). This has been a butt-ugly game - was expecting to see our backups after halftime - but that ain't happenin'.

You guys seem to roll over the fact that hes still a true freshman.

I’m right there with you, man! If Campbell didn’t fire the o line coach, special teams coach, defensive coordinator and field and turf staff at halftime, then Pollard needs to go out after the third quarter and fire Campbell for not doing it.
