Well, the advanced stats say Tech is really good but we will find out how good when they play Duke on Thursday. Should be a good game.

Yikes. Knew our schedule was bad, but didn't think it was quite that bad. It'll start rising soon but it is kinda worrisome that we don't have a good win yet.

K-State gets Vandy at the Sprint Center Saturday. That game will show if the EMAWs are competitive without Dean Wade. Vandy beat #18 Arizona State last night in Nashville. The Dores are really talented.

That is the benefit of playing in the Big 12. Plenty of opportunity to get the SOS up once January begins. B12 is the top rated conference entering the conference season I believe.

Yeah, with the Big 12 being #1 again, I think 9-9 might sneak us into the tourney. I have my sights set a little higher though, I think we can go 12-6 or 13-5.

This is why I wanted to beat Arizona and likely go 1-2 instead of losing and beating 2 easy teams to go 2-1 in Maui. Arizona looks like a bubble team so a win there would have been nice for selection Sunday.

We don’t have any decent non-conf. wins and only have one more opportunity to do that (@Ole Miss). We don’t have any bad losses either so that’s good.

From 8 weeks to medical redshirt season is the best guess today. K-State will definitely go small-ball now. Sneed will move to four with Diarra sliding into his three slot.

I have us 11-7. Sweeping BU and OSU and splitting the rest. But I could also see us sweeping Texas and being swept by KU.

I think we go 8-1 in Hilton and then 4-5 or 5-4 on the road. The Oklahoma state road game is a must win to even start thinking about that though.

I think the hardest thing for ISU will be trying to integrate Wigginton and Young back into the lineup, and get Lard right at the start of conference season. If they can get through the first part without bad losses then things will be looking up.

I suspect he'll go pro. He's projected in the 25-35 range presently. However, the ongoing injury issues that date back to high school may kick him out of the draft into the G-league or Europe.

Regarding the non-con, bad losses are far more damaging than a poor SOS. 10-8 in conference play and we are a lock.
