Sudden onset of chills, fatigue, fever, aches.......I have the flu, don't I? Feeling better right now vs. a few hours ago. Took ibuprofen at 8pm but still have 100.5 temp. Did get my flu shot this year....little man can't get one until next month. I'm sure hoping this is something else and that he doesn't get it.

Your body is angry because you haven’t drank in a while.

Depresssing. ;)

Husband's cousin posted a family selfie of them in the van just before taking off for San Antonio. Yep. Jealous.
The people posting about road tripping down to San Antonio makes me wish I took today off and just drove down. I much prefer a road trip over flying.

We found out over this past week that a significant percentage of the friends & family who normally come for NYE will not be making it this year (combinations of family coming to visit them, job instability affecting travel funds, a colicy baby, having to work late on the 31st or early on the 1st, and in one case, chemo). We decided to NOT go to the bowl because of being gone for Thanksgiving (among other things), and our NYE party tradition. As the regrets have filtered in one by one, we've been kicking ourselves over that decision! Ah well, our numbers will be reduced, but that just means more nachos for us!!!

Hey, I’m here. I don’t have the flu, but still feeling quite “ugh”. DH is going for a quick walk before all the rain gets here. I stuck my head outside and breathed in fresh air. That’s probably the extent of my travels today. Have had tea and toast this a.m. which is more than yesterday at this time.
Good thoughts for feeling better, Cowgirl!

RTT is pretty slow today. Must be lots of people on the road

I was channeling my inner @wxman1 last night and this morning and sending my niece NWS graphics since they would be starting from Indy today and driving to Montana. Grand Forks office is pumping out some great stuff, easy to grasp graphics with none of the local TV ********. Apparently I got their attention as they packed last night and hit the road at 6:30 a.m. this morning. Of course they will be driving right into the worst of it but hopefully can make it into ND somewhere by the end of the day before they have to hunker down.

I’m working, but it’s just two day week. I make it through Thursday and I don’t have to go in again until next Wednesday.

I'm going to take off this week AND next year both.

Still chuckling when I think of them asking me to come back to work last week.
