What number is a season ticket sellout? Wonder if we get there for the first time ever.
We sold out of season tickets in 2013 with 43,000. JTS had a capacity of 56,800 in 2013.
56,800-43,000 = 13,800 leftover for visitors, player/staff families, single game seats, etc.
Capacity now is 61,500. So assuming we have about the same amount of leftovers, a sellout of season tickets now is probably around 47,700.

Thanks, seems likely that we’ll get there then

I’m sure this has been discussed but going through 25 pages.

How long does one have to make a decision of GA season tickets? A week? Less? A month?

Probably pretty soon.

And I don't think there are general admission season tickets.

wondering what people have done in the past for having a 2 year old. my son won't be at all the games but I am looking to buy mobile passes for my self and then my sister. but I want to bring my son to at least one game this year depending on time slots for the games. is there an option to add just a single game ticket at some point in the season or how did anyone handle a having smaller kids? don't exactly want to buy hillside tickets but don't want to spend the $250 for one or two games either.

that is what I am trying to figure out if I buy that then 2 regular mobile pass tickets and then he just sits with us anyway in the stands then.
yes. at 2 he won't take too much space. Plus you will be able to take him to a MBB game over break for free and you will only pay $25. Lot's of great perks and you'll be buying him a pass for the next 16 years...

I’ll guess the maximum is closer to 50 to 55K. There’s no reason to sell individual tickets if you can sell season tickets. If a school returns tickets from their allotment, then non-season ticket holders can buy tickets.

That's what we did with our youngest & it worked just fine (getting an actual ticket for her this year at 4). People around the Jack are usually pretty friendly & don't mind if you have a kid on your lap/running around.

I’m just reporting the numbers from the previous sellout. It wasn’t my recommendation lol

Seems like a smart move considering the situation described. That practice should save several hundred dollars.

We never took the kids to games until they got older (like 9 or 10 yrs old) and my wife has always wanted them to sit by us, so we would buy regular tickets. That, of course, costs a lot more, but "happy wife, happy life."

Never minded the small ones at all. But it really ticks me off when people move their teenagers in. It's what drove us to get chairbacks so that we had our "territory" clearly defined. :D

Been doing this for years after one particular Iowa game where I am pretty sure there were about 5 extra people squeezed into our row so everyone was on top of each other. Works wonders!

Maybe my proudest moment as an ISU dad. My daughter, who will graduate in December, has allowed me to buy her a student season football ticket. (She has sat with us from time to time during her three years in college.) It's about time! Not sure what that means for the football team, but it does make me proud.
