A&M, Mizzou and Arkansas are all likely to block Texas and OU. Most of the SEC East would be foolish to let them in.

If it comes down to that scenario, sign me up for a PAC offer. A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush, right? I love the idea of the Big Ten as a landing place as well, and that would be a better fit on so many levels than the PAC, but I'm not sure how realistic it is.

Fascinating time. Hope the Big Ten powers that be see all the positive things about ISU that we all see.
I remember the not so long ago rants about how the Big 10 sucks. Crow eating times...

anyone voting no for TX and OU to join the SEC is voting for less money than if they voted yes for them to join.

Look at your list again ... which of them votes for less money?

50% of this board still thinks conferences are out looking for better matchups and better rivalry games instead of money even though people have been ditching rivalry games for the last 15 years.

During the last round of realignment. Because cable markets mattered more then.

Now we're back to eyeballs mattering. Exciting rivalry games draw eyeballs.

I am eating crow if we end up in the conference. I always thought the Big Ten had the attitude that we are better than you and we "do things the right way" with a kind of snobbery. That being said, I guess I can accept being a college sports snob lol.

How many No's do they need to block this? This could really backfire on them if they don't get in.

I don't really think so. The cat is out of the bag. If the SEC shuts them out, the BIG will pick up the phone and welcome UT and OU with open arms.

The Big 12 is dead.
