When almost half of your top 25 is considered "extreme picks" then you might be doing it wrong.

When we went to OU with Senecas team and got destroyed we were ranked 9th. I think there were a few other times in basketball where we were ranked 9th and lost, which everyone latched on to. Now it's a full blown fan thing.

But then they base it on name recognition and margin of victory with little to no knowledge of how good teams actually are. Campbell likely enjoys the drop in rankings. The boys will be ready to play.

A couple of monkeys CMC needs to get off his back are winning the first game / more convincingly and beating Iowa. Won the first game but not convincingly. Next up is the Iowa monkey.

This year particularly since so much last year was garbage without as much cross conference competition.

Indiana should never have been rated as high as they were last year, leading to them being overrated this year, leading to Iowa getting a massive bump from beating them.

Yes, I know the whys. We cleared that ghost by wining as #9 last year. So it is no longer valid.
