I was told this by some folks in Ames that there most definitely was a head case/lack of drive vibe constantly coming from foster.
His time in Ames saw several run ins with Ames PD. I just looked at Iowa Courts...bummer for the kid. If the other allegations are verified I feel for the victim as well.

I knew this was coming when TJ was hired. But… some people on here seemed to think differently.

So on March 18th, 2021 you knew TJ was going to kick Foster off the team for sexual assault?

The Iowa State Daily learned of the search warrant in June and initially contacted the athletics department, who did not have any knowledge of the ongoing investigation during the summer.

“I don’t have a comment on that,” said a representative of Iowa State men’s basketball when asked to comment on the matter in a phone call July 28. “This is the first thing I’m hearing of this.”

Uh, major yikes here.

Interestingly the Daily story has a publication date of July 28 on it. As if they wrote the story and had it queued up online but never published until now.

I would say that people in Ames/ISU knew he had issues going on that wouldn’t align with the program. We’ll just leave it at that until everything plays out.

Good riddance, what a loser. I hate to say this because life is bigger than basketball but I don't see this TJ thing getting off to a good start. One of the requirements for us at least fielding a .500 team was Foster has to start living up to his rating.

TJ will be okay. No doubt it will be harder, but there is still plenty of talent and who knows.......maybe Foster was a cancer even last year and it's best to just cut it out for team success.

.500 was REALLY optimistic regardless

Many already knew that wouldn’t happen and that this season was going to be a real struggle to reach 10 wins total. I really didn’t think Foster was going to be a factor this year. He had a long ways to go, especially defensively.

Well........."issues going on that wouldn't align with the program" could be a number of things not including sexual assault. Which I don't know of any program that aligns with. So if you and others in Ames knew of this specific thing 7 months ago.....that is interesting to say the least.

If this person turns out to be a rapist, I certainly am glad that he is off the team. Hopefully there are not more folks like him on our teams.

This is how I felt about Cam Lard. His freshman year he had some stretches where he showed some elite talent and skills then he just pissed all that away with attitude and off court problems. There were games he looked like he could develop into one of the best post players in the conference.

NBA is moving toward powerforwards who can shoot but I think both Lard and McKay had physical gifts to be nba players. I pretty much only watch nba other than ISU.
