Haven't kept up with this thread. Storms passed without much fanfare here in Adel. Sirens went off a few times. We spent about 45 minutes in the basement. Still very windy but otherwise quiet.

Very strong smell of smoke/fire outside. Not sure if that’s being pulled from somewhere else in the country?

My daughter is coming home from college at U of South Carolina and is due to land at DSM from Atlanta at 10:30. I’m nervous. Plane due to take off in 15 minutes and as of now they plan to fly. Unfortunately I’m in NY for work and don’t have a feel for what’s going on there other than this thread. Appreciate the updates.
