I don't care if he's our best player, Brockington's shot selection with his deep 2s kills us so much.

Other coaches knew months ahead of time that TJ was going to ISU?
Now, before you 'dumb' this, was that actually a thing?
I know we have talked about this too much......but I hope that wasn't the case.
Like I have said....I was against the hire if it was done under the premise of "his turn". Because that's just plain wrong. It was no more his turn than mine.
But was that done....I don't know. I mean his time at UNLV was well, whatever. He did well at SDSU. But as others have said, this isn't the Horizon.
And wasn't that one of the knocks on Prohm in 2015 that maybe he did well at Murray State, but it was with another coaches players? Couldn't the same have been said about TJ after Nagy at SDSU? All of those concerns were brought forward last spring......and yet here we are.
With all that said however, I am willing to do what most on here would not do with Prohm......give him a chance. I mean it's Iowa State and he is the coach. And they have won 17 games, got me so worked up at 12-0 I predicted a conference title fight and a single digit seed in the tourney. So winning isn't completely foreign to him.
They've lost their mojo somehow. Maybe their confidence is just plain shaken, maybe TJ is a little out of his league.....I don't know. It wouldn't be the first time a former assistant comes in and struggles. Hopefully the guys find it again before the season is all done. I mean they start hitting shots and playing like they did in December, they could possibly win in KC and have some fun in the tourney. I've seen weirder things.
It's unfortunately one of the better looks the team has been able to come up with. I also don't think it's any good.I don't care if he's our best player, Brockington's shot selection with his deep 2s kills us so much.

Bolded: I mean if you lose 20 games two years in a row 4 and 5 years in, your chances are are up.
Repeating but if it gets to year 3 and ISU is still .500ish with no real movement, moving on would be preferred.
Yeah good for him. Let the freak flag fly man.Bruce looked like he was going to drop some acid after the game and listen to the Dead Europe 72 on vinyl. I respect that.
Greg something former Wichita State coach, Gonzaga Coach?? We have a lot of money than them from football? Villanova coach? We have to believe we are a better program and go big.Who were they going to get that's won somewhere?
Dude never had D1 fuel. He's been filling up with D2 fuel his whole career.Welp this one was disappointing. The Grill was out of fuel today.
Very likely defensive rebound, AKA turnover, every one he misses. That said, the same applies to the dozens of missed 3s every game.I don't care if he's our best player, Brockington's shot selection with his deep 2s kills us so much.
Why does our fanbase deserve better than any other fanbase? Before you say we show up at games, maybe realize what's more important is that we stop being so cheap and give some real money to the AD like all the other schools are able to do with their donors. We don't "deserve" anything any more than any other school in this conference. In fact, there is an argument that we deserve less because we invest the least amount as a fanbase into the AD.

I'm referring to the entire season. It's a low efficiency shot, especially when he gets in the mood that he want's to take over. I've watched multiple times where he has passed on a wide open 3 for a contested deep two (usually with a fadeaway), or pulled up when he had a clear lane to the rim.Brockington was 11-17. Grill was 1-12, Gabe was 3-10. Brockington isn't even close to our biggest problem.
I know that Blake Lively is married and all, but you s'pose I should message her on Twitter and see what's going on next weekend?

Why not? Doesn't hurt to take a chance.
