I think Breece going to a place having a solid stable of RB’s would be good. Extend that NFL lifespan = more $$$, plus get to learn from established guys. Look at what happens when you go to a franchise that is a shambles (ie DM).

If McCaffrey is really a difference maker I would expect the Panthers to have finished better than 7-9, 5-11, 5-11, and 5-12 in the 4 seasons they have really been trying to use him.
Even when he is healthy, having your running back as your singular focus is a recipe for failure in the NFL.
Titans and Saints would probably not agree with this premise. In McCaffery's three full seasons he was in the difference maker category along with Henry and Kamara. Fortunately those two guys they had a better supporting staff, hence better team records.
The Titans often win because Tannehill pulls some good plays out after they run it for 6 yards total on first and second down.
Henry had 4.3 yards per carry this year. His replacement, D'Onta Foreman, had 4.3 yards per carry this year.
Running backs barely matter and the NFL is beginning to draft them later and pay them less as a result.
So it's a waste of a pick for any team to draft Breece in the first or second round?
I agree and I don't. David going to Chi allowed him to play early.
I think the sweet spot is going to a team with a good QB and a bad team (at the moment). Seattle would be a home run for him I feel.
Cards, Dolphins, or Bills would be great too. In my opinion, very few teams outside of a small handful could use a Breece Hall right now. He's a freak, even amongst the collection of freaks in Indy last weekend. To have a 40 inch vert at almost 220 lbs, I mean just wow.
If I am a good GM I'm not taking Breece Hall in the first round because running backs don't move the needle enough on offense.
I'm an Iowa State fan who would love to see Breece taken in the first. And I there's enough historical context of GMs taking RBs high that he probably will go in the first round.

I think #27 to #55 is a pretty good range. Realistically he may go in the 2nd round. Would love him to go in the 1st round to a decent team.
I just hope he gets to run behind a good offensive line.
I’d say CMC if he stayed healthy, but agree. I think it’s still okay to draft in the late 1st if you really like a guy though. Especially if you think he’d be gone by your next selection late in the 2nd round.
Breece is much better in the passing game the K9, not sure if that is just the way he was used or is a large gap in skill but I would be surprised if walker went ahead of him. Only reason would be if neither was taken in the first and Detroit wanted a home body (please no) if there is some conference bias, or they are worried about his usage.

Then he also said that it was “confirmed” in the drills that Breece was “stiff in the hips”. Uh, what?
Said he was a second rounder, with a chance to be a “breakaway back”. My impression was that he meant “limited to”, said second round.
I dunno, maybe the piece was already linked here, but I was so put off by the “stiff in the hips” that I’m not going looking for it again.

Well....what NFL team needs a running back the most? Meaning, they are already set at quarterback, lineman, and defense. Please don't say the Packers.
