Brooks with an identical approach on 18. Looked like the same exact shot, spun back to the same exact place.

We used to laugh at my buddy's uncle who told us all he'd take Davis Love over Tiger in the early 00s. This almost comes off like that but I think you have a bit of a point that not 100% of players are going to fear a top player. St Peters didn't fear Kentucky or Purdue.
I guess it doesn't really matter who does or doesn't fear him. Some players claim they didn't fear Jordan and others admit they were afraid of him, he was better than them whether they feared him or not. His teammates were afraid of him so I tend to believe the great opponents who admit he was scary to play against.
It is a little irrational to fear the 46 year old version in his fourth or fifth comeback of sorts after not having competed for almost two years...but it'll still happen to some if it's close on Sunday. Probably more improtant is being intimidated by the moment and the setting...of which won't be as big a deal for him as most of his opponents.
Winning a major on one leg (over 91 holes) is a more impressive win than winning a major fully healthy (over 76 holes). It’s not debatable.

Tiger was intimidating unlike any other professional until he reached the point in his career when his wicked 2 iron swings caught up with his back and his knee. After Zach beat him at the Masters, coming back at him in the back nine Sunday, Tiger never was the same. Take a look at that masters. Watch Tiger the last five or six holes. He reached back with that wicked swing he uses on a par 5 or long par 4. Your body can only take so much of it and by the time he turned 31 or 32 his body said no more. That is when the fist bump gave him a torn ACL. Sure he won 3 majors, but he had won many more by that time already. Had he learned to conserve his swing, we would be talking about him passing Jack.
Meh.
I mean because of injuries Tiger has gone through multiple swing changes and managed to be an elite player each time he's come back. Taking Zach Johnson's last 15 over Tiger's because he won at a place that Tiger has also won at, is honestly one of the worst golf takes I've seen in a while. "He was never the same." Sure, does Zach's last 15 include any years like Tiger's 2013?

I think the funniest thing about this stupid argument is Kinch thinks Zach broke Tiger. Tiger broke Tiger. Zach beating him at the masters was nothing.

Tiger was too hard on his body. Guy was crazy with his workouts.
My favorite story about that was Tiger supposedly planned his morning runs to go shirtless past all the other pros in those Orlando neighborhoods they all live in back when Tiger was the only guy to really take strength training seriously.
