I think it's situation or person dependent but iirc basically if the knee is hurting, something else is weak/injured or out of alignment.

Along with my hips I need to keep my ankle flexion and strength and my quads strong as well.
Yes if there's an injury or something mechanically wrong then of course it wouldn't correlate. This article in particular just focused on regular inflammation and pain that people normally would experience from impacts.

It's something I've actually experienced so in my case it's legit.

After walking around all day or going for a longer walk I'll feel more discomfort than a 25-30 minute run.

I have to keep my hips/quads/core balanced with strength and alignment to make any of it work.

I get that part. If I am out walking for hours, say 4-6 hours out none stop walkabout doing birding photography I am stiff/sore but it's not actually real impact wear and tear.

Wrapped up Liif4. After 8 weeks I'm up 4-5 pounds which is disappointing.

Last time I did the program I dropped quite a bit of weight but I was also doing a lot of extra cardio. I kept it to the program due to baby #2

I look bigger, but also I don't look thinner. So back to the drawing board. Rough losing with the kids.

Please talk to your doctor about Wegovy. A new, FDA approved drug from about 15 months ago. They cannot make enough of it. It basically suppresses your appetite because you always have a full feeling. You can consume less calories and metabolize carbohydrates like your 16 years old and u do not get hungry. It is essentially semaglutide which is the diabetes drug. It is under the trade name of Wegovy.

Adults with diabetes are on a regimen of 3 to 4 times the amount people use this for to lose weight. They discovered adult diabetic patients were losing 10% of their body weight over 6 to 12 months of use. People that need to lose more weight obviously can lose more than 10 to 15% of their body weight on this drug.

It would s expensive - $250-$400 per month

It is not speed or anything like that to suppress your appetite. Amazing drug.
Down 28 pounds in 6 days with the des moines weight-loss program. Honestly haven't been hungry either.

I think I shared this previously but the running pain I encounter post kids is different from pre kids or even 1 kid. I did a lot of pt in between but it's crazy to see how it's not my shoes or running form because that's the same. It's different weaknesses and alignments.

God damn, you lost in 6 days what I lost in 6 months.
It was a shocker when I weighed this morning, 8 pounds yesterday. My goal is 75 to get to healthy. It's a nine week program so I may just fly by that and aim for fit.

Basically I eat 2 meals a day. 4 ounces of protein (beef, chicken, not pork) and 2 4oz. Servings of weighted veggies (been steaming fresh green beans. One meal you can have berries instead of veggies. Salad veggies are considered free. Can't have cream or oil based dressing. I got Walden Farms Italian from HyVee which was on approved list.

I take drops 3 times a day.
Diet which I think is appetite suppressant.
Fat burner and vitality which is likely energy boost.

Once a day I take B12 and B3.
All consumption is in an 8 hour window.

And a gallon of water to flush the fat out of your kidneys.

I’m trying to figure if something I am doing is making my lower blood pressure number too low.

Except when pregnant, the upper number has always been between 100-104. The lower number between 64-68. Over the last few weeks, the upper number has stayed the same, but the lower has been between 56-60, and I think below 60 is considered too low. I don’t think it’s our device because husband uses it and his has not changed.

The only thing I think I have done differently is upped my swimming from half a mile at beginning of summer to 3/4 - a mile depending on the day. I also walk the dog 2-4 miles, depending on weather and his mood.

Google tells me swimming can lower your upper number but I didn’t see anything about the lower.

That's what mine would run pregnant too. I asked once about too low and OB said if I'm not having any dizziness or light headedness probably ok.

If you have the same weight off a year from now you will be beating significant odds. I do not of any weight loss program that people lost that much, that fast and retained the loss.

I hope it works. Go for it

They say you lose most the weight in the first phase. Last month is building into a sustainable maintenance program long term.

I lost 30 on my own last fall. Was 3 pounds lighter then that when I started this program.

Danger and Lindsey on 97.3 advertise for it. Say it's sustainable. I saw their before/after pictures. I agree it's not easy to sustain but I'm heading for a stoke if I don't get this weight off. If they can get me there it's up to me to change my habits.

Some things I've found through research that have helped. Eat healthier but also eat less times a day. Every time you eat, no matter what you're consuming your body releases insulin. Less instances of insulin release, less fat is built. I don't care for elimination diets because I think they're unsustainable. Try to eat less times a day, healthier fresher ingredients, and get intense exercise 3 times a week of 45 minutes and you should see results. It's the lifestyle and diet that are most important when talking about losing bad weight.

Also, doing heavy lifting with your legs, like Squats, lunges, dead lift is shown to increase human growth hormone. There was also a recent study in Japan on fasting that showed incredible promise for healthy lifestyle choices.

I would half like to get my hands on some steroids and see what damage I could do.

I have to ask how tall you are? I mean I'm 6'2" have dropped 10 lbs the last year to get to 225. I've gone from a 38" to 36" waist size. My wife is 5'6 and she has dropped 45 lbs in the last year, but she is on a diet plan to. I'm not, I just exercise regulary and drink around 24 oz of water first thing in the morning.
I am 6’1”. I completely changed my diet. I have gone through periods w we here I exercise, but have not been consistent.

But for my diet, I have been pretty good. I limit myself to about 30g fat a day. I don’t eat red meat and eat almost no dairy. I also only drink water. I try to drink a gallon of water a day. Most days I am able to, but it isn’t easy. I also try to keep my sugar intake below the recommended daily amount.

I track everything I eat which helps me.

Just go to your doctor and get TRT.
I talked to my doctor about the new weight loss/diabetes meds on the Market. He said they are basically the same as the Ozempic I'm taking now. It's a $1500 prescription, 1000 w/ good rx. Gave me a card so I get it for $25/mo.
