If any of the KXNO shows has Bill Blank on this next week he needs to be called out for this. His responses in the comments are just as bad, he continues to double down that the refs gave ISU the game.

He wasn’t offsides and the sideline call was complete crap. The white hat had publicly announced fumble recovered by the defense. Kids were celebrating with their teammates. That gets called as often as “helping” which is to say never. That was dirty pool.

Exactly, it wasn’t some obvious jump.

It wasn’t even an actual neutral zone infraction and dozens of actual ones had gone uncalled today like they do in every single game.

I do think he was probably in the neutral zone based on where his left hand is, close enough that it's not obvious was wasn't offside.


So show me them, that's what I'm saying. I'm sure a neutral zone infraction gets missed sometimes, I don't think it's "many dozen" or 50 in a game like you think it is.

I’m okay with the Iowa PF because the guy continued to push after he was out of bounds. It didn’t appear that we were lined up offsides… but we won, move on.

I don't like the unsportsmanlike penalty on that sideline. Practically put Iowa into FG range with the offsides.

Agree. I thought we were offside at the snap. Seemed so obvious that I didn't celebrate the apparent turnover.

That said, you can't call that sideline nonsense in a rivalry game. We thought there was a change of possession. Of course we had players coming onto the field
