Yep. We adjusted the defense a bit and dare I say got tougher with Texas. Most games aren’t played this way, but for the couple of times we see Texas you have to go into rock fight mode. Good job in the 2nd Qtr.

That included turning over the entire roster. CBF has said many times he will not coach or teach that style of play. Probably to our detriment against a team like Hacksas but doubt it will change while he is in charge. Maybe the next coach can implement that style - me personally if they do my interest in watching will be greatly reduced.

Physicality/toughness is as much a mindset as it is body type. You don't have to turn over your entire roster to have a more physical team.

Nope. We all hate top ten recruiting classes. Good Lord, some people on this board are unreal.

It has to do with the type of player it takes to beat the taller and more physical teams.

I could not find a Texas fan board with a peep about WBB. I haven't seen them and they have had injuries and been so up and down that I have no idea what to expect other than Harmon.

It seems that the main die hard wbb fans at UT post on Horn fans. I post there every now and then. There's some very good guys on that board and some that are quite honest and reliable in their assessment of the whole conference. I have had several connections with different ones on that board who have shared extra tickets with me over the years.

Everyone needs to remember we had someone to finally matchup with Texas in Soares. So Bill found an answer, but he can’t control the unfortunate injury. Would love to see what she could do and what we would look like in this game if she were healthy.

Not necessarily outside of a more talented post player. Too much of the time, ISU's offense plays right into the physical UT D with the lack of a motion offense, especially with Soares no longer playing.

That is BY FAR the toughest position to recruit. The top five teams dominate the recruiting of that position. That coupled with volleyball taking a large number of the bigs that used to play basketball makes it even tougher. Landing Steph gave us a chance - that is why is was so disheartening to lose her.
