3. Never eat hot wings when you're out on a date.
I don't think TJ or anyone expected the injuries or maybe even an ineligible for part of the season Tre.
Our expected PG missed the whole year, our best perimeter shooter missed games and still looks hobbled, our most versatile player lost maybe a month?
I know a lot of teams get injured but it seems to have really snagged us this year.
3. Never get involved in a land war in Asia.
I know most times if I hit a "laugh" button on one of his takes to expect a "dumb" from him. It happens pretty regularly. I think it's pretty funny.I love how someone dumbed this. Like it didn't happen.
Many players were wincing and limping etc. today.

Also, he has no problem calling out people's opinions from years ago but he had some brutal cringe takes on TJ. Ironic.
I've had bad takes before, I'm sure we all have had them. But he has no problem bringing up other people's and also hides behind this being atleast his second username. The 'needed more of a search' folks are full throttle.
I feel like this is a Mark Wahlberg Ted moment.Never date a woman with two first names.
I don't feel that is the issue. We have played small ball a lot. In fact I would argue teams are taking advantage of our 4 guard lineup. My biggest complaint with this years team is that we haven't seem to even mess with a "small ball" line up with either King or Jaz at the 5. I know the answer probably is we don't have a Brockington who can guard up to a 4 or have Jaz and King available together, but the hesitancy to even throw that out there has caused us to rely way to much on Jones and the same offensive sets.
Ivan Chiriaev . . . . . probably still has some eligibilityAgreed and exactly who would that have been?
I have NO sympathy regarding AJ Green and people who do aren't serious. They so badly needed better guards even with Brockington and Hunter, they lost both and didn't bring in a single efficient guard. The loss of Williams hurts and I'll be the first to admit it.1. Never bank schollies
2. Never bank on anyone being here who hasn't committed
Those 2 things are why the season turned out how they are. We're massively overachieving but could be actually good if we had better breaks in the offseason. Hopefully TJ and the staff learn from this
We're on the same page for what we want but aren't at the same time. You have 0 idea if any of those guys would have come. TJ has the best idea of who would fit with the team.
Maybe TJ thought Green was the best piece to win a conference title. If you want Iowa State to not try and get the best players they can and instead settle for someone else, then I don't know what to tell you.
So, you're going to cut a kid that you've already guaranteed a scholarship, has moved across the country and enrolled in summer classes?I have NO sympathy regarding AJ Green and people who do aren't serious. But the AJ Green thing was avoidable if they had done what most coaches would have done, filled the spot and figured it out later. If AJ decides he wants to come around draft time, you wish Jones or Ward the best and try to help them find a spot. It's what serious programs would do. You don't need a third string center in college basketball which is decidedly a guard's game.
He obviously did something right because he was a starter a portion of the season and started at least 1 tournament game that I remember.I mean, Enaruna couldn't do either thing
That part is awful. You're right, and I'd soften my stance as I think that that's too far. I'd say I'd rather be a center short than a guard short and wouldn't offer a scholly to a center if I was okay just running it back with a center on the roster and just bring in 1 instead of 2.So, you're going to cut a kid that you've already guaranteed a scholarship, has moved across the country and enrolled in summer classes?
This isn't a video game. These are real people.
I'm just here to say bowen born without adding any more context.
It's a fine line and it may be a situation where there's no correct answer. That part is awful. You're right, and I'd soften my stance as I think that that's too far. When I think about it, it would be a really bad move just as a person to do what I'd suggested. Just would hope guard play is prioritized more.
