It's a fine line and it may be a situation where there's no correct answer.
Fred bounced out Richard Armadi IIRC to free up the scholly.
He wasn't real person.

I'm not so sure about that, no offense to Lipsey but I doubt we lose 7 out of 9 like this if he was running the show this year. We definitely wouldn't have blown the Tech game with him bringing the ball up.The best part is we wouldn’t be any better with Hunter.
That part is awful. You're right, and I'd soften my stance as I think that that's too far. I'd say I'd rather be a center short than a guard short and wouldn't offer a scholly to a center if I was okay just running it back with a center on the roster and just bring in 1 instead of 2.
When I think about it, it would be a really bad move just as a person to do what I'd suggested. Just would hope guard play is prioritized more.
He's struggled with the physicality in The Valley the last month. He's at the level he needs to be at. You're right.H
He’d get swallowed up in the big 12
Who says you have to do that either? There's a number of different ways to handle it now that NIL is legalSo, you're going to cut a kid that you've already guaranteed a scholarship, has moved across the country and enrolled in summer classes?
This isn't a video game. These are real people.
If TJ can take this marginal group dancing..I don't think TJ or anyone expected the injuries or maybe even an ineligible for part of the season Tre.
Our expected PG missed the whole year, our best perimeter shooter missed games and still looks hobbled, our most versatile player lost maybe a month?
I know a lot of teams get injured but it seems to have really snagged us this year.
4? Thnking more like '2'. Watch Indiana beat Purdue tonight with Scafino scoring 35? Looked him up and sure enough I read he's a 5-star. There's a reason those guys can take teams on their back.If TJ can take this marginal group dancing..
man i'm excited to see what he can do with some studs (like the 4 we have coming in)

The story to this season was written last May. Thats why I was so upset after the Hunter and Green debacle last spring.
I was worried about the jump in competition from the Bonnie transfers also. They've had some good moments but as a whole they've been pretty average. We needed Osuni to be 2014 McKay and he looks more like 2015 McKay. Holmes has been a decent complimentary piece but not anybody who can carry a game like IB last year.
This year has pretty much been a continuation of last year except Grill and Gabe got on a hot shooting streak until late January. It gave us alot of false hopes that this team could compete for a championship when in actuality they are probably the 8th or 9th most talented team in the league.
We definitely overachieved now that you look at the season as a whole.
Give Coach Green a "raise" to help pay for AJ out of pocket. I know there's some rules there but other teams certainly find ways around themSome examples please.
If they are named after a car, it’s meant they were conceived in one.I feel like this is a Mark Wahlberg Ted moment.
As much as I want to agree with you, I just can’t. As we have seen many times this year, just dribbling the ball down the court and making a completed pass hasnt been all that easy. having another guard that can dribble and pass could have been useful. But whatever. The best part is we wouldn’t be any better with Hunter.

NIL him his scholarship. I know some SEC teams already do that on football.
WrongYou have 0 idea if they'd fit the chemistry or not. While we drug our feet on Green there were plenty of guys out there
We saw this yesterday for sure. OU was bothered by our half court pressure and turned it over several times while not scoring the first 5 minutes. Then they figured it out and kept getting wide open threes. But we could only score 7 points in that span when we should have been up 10 or 12 at least. Our defense has been Jeckyl & Hyde the last month. Easy to say we don't have the horses, but I feel opposing coaches have us figured out. It just might take their players some time to adjust.
Watching the game on TV ...The Analyst early in the game stated that Oklahoma had better athletes than Iowa State...I AGREE WITH THAT ASSESSMENT...The story to this season was written last May. Thats why I was so upset after the Hunter and Green debacle last spring.

I’ll judge him. He’s done a helluva job these first two years. He inherited a 2 win team, went to the Sweet 16 and will be back in the tourney in Year 2.This is year 2 of a complete rebuild of a program. If you look at talent, last year’s team had no business being in the Sweet 16. It wouldn’t surprise me to see this group make a similar run. However, this team is limited in so many areas. It’s hard to win consistently when the guy across from you is just physically better. That’s all going to change next year. To fairly judge Otz you need to wait for years 3-5. That’s when you find out where the program is headed. I’m looking forward to it.
