Yeah give us more money so we can pay our athletes to gamble it away.

Meh, unluckily it is like the facilities race. It's all beyond ridiculous, but do we want ISU to keep up or chose not to participate in it?

We Will actually has guard rails for the student athletes having to participate in community service instead of just straight cash payouts like others are allegedly getting.

For going off your screen name, at least the BB teams didn't get caught up in the betting problem.

I don't really have a souce. Just that over the past few years he has been very adamant about that in interviews and stuff. He thinks it would disrupt the family atmosphere. Which, imo, doesn't make a lot of sense. 1/2 the stadium is drunk anyway
I would guess taxes and insurance may increase decently if you begin selling beer at the stadium, though I would guess the proceeds from the beer sales would more than make up for it

I've always assumed its because if they sell alcohol stadium wide then the demand for the Sukup Endzone and other premium seating areas may decline since they no longer are as exclusive being the only place you can purchase alcohol in the stadium. Before the SEZ renovation I had tickets 1 season and they aren't great seats when it comes to watching the game. It's cool when they are in the redzone on that end of the field as you can see the plays develop from a different angle but once they get mid-field the view sucks and can't see much of what is going on without watching the video board mostly.

It is insane just how much these college football programs demand from their fans financially IMO. I know it's just the way things are now, but I can totally understand how most fans cannot possibly afford to give what is needed from them for both the athletic department and now the We Will collective on top of it.

I commend those who are able to give, and do so. It is appreciated. I want ISU athletics to thrive, but the amount of money it now takes and demands from its fans is insane.
I agree, but why can't we be on the middle of the pack of Collective performance? Your feelings are no different than the fans of the 60 colleges ahead of us.

true but wouldnt the profits of beer sales to the rest of the stadium offset any loss of Sukup Endzone ticketholders?
