Rocco is the least of our problems. He is already a good QB, and has the potential to be great. Let him play…. and throw the ball around!
Man, what I wouldn't give for an RJ on this team. So quick on the yards after catch.
Also, Stevie Hicks RIP, was a pretty damn good RB for us. We didn't run a lot so his numbers weren't gaudy, besides 2004 having over 1000 yards. He always averaged 3.8 per carry
He was a 4 star running back out of Omaha, had offers from Iowa, Nebraska, Texas A&M, and Michigan.
Dan McCarney only signed one RB that year, and it was Stevie.

Zero sacks behind that offensive line is the bigger stat. Great poise and awareness
It's inferred by your phrasing but the zero sacks was NOT because the offensive line played well.
He was great, didn't force anything or make any risky throws, he knew right where the ball was supposed to go.
Kid is a baller. I fully expect him to transfer

The OL is generally fine at pass protection. But they are so bad run blocking. Both can be true at the same time.
This is your offense now. He's not gonna put that line up every game obviously, but he needs more involvement. Throw the ball more and let Rocco score points. His pocket presence and reads/decisions are outstanding given his protection and run game. If he puts us into the 20s, we should be winning those games. Our defense needs to do a better job than giving up almost 30.
He's going to be really good. Imagine how good he'd be if we had a running game.
I’m sure you expected TJ Tampa to transfer, too.
He’ll have all his weapons back, the line will have a 2nd year under Clanton. He’ll be excited for a 2nd year as a starter.
