Any of those who think SEC is in no matter what willing to bet a We Will Donation (if FSU wins)? If FSU wins tonight, I think you have Michigan, Washington, Texas, and FSU (in that order)

I seriously hope you're right... would love nothing more than for that to happen. I highly doubt it though.

Do people honestly feel that FSU with their backup QB is one of the 4 best teams in the country.... even if they beat an average Louisville team tonight? I don't... and that's why I don't think FSU has a chance.
You probably said the same thing when Brock Purdy became the 49ers qb

You are saying neither of the teams that win the national title almost every year don’t pass the eye test? Give me a break man. That’s ridiculous

What they've done in the past has precisely zero to do with whether they pass the eye test this year.

They're not what they were in past years. Its a down year for the SEC. Texas is better.

The sideline reporter for SMU-Tulane said Alabama should get in over Texas because the Tide have the best win in the country now. My question is, how is a three point win by Alabama over Georgia on a neutral field better than a ten point win by Texas at Alabama? Sure seems like Bama’s win over Georgia just makes Texas’ win look even better.

Committee will say that win was early in the year and that Alabama is the better team now

That was part of their giving a pass to Ohio st for losing to an avg VaTech at home when TCU’s loss was drastically better. I’m not sure I agree but they can spin “best” as “best now”. Still Texas is blowing people out lately.

In DIII news. back to back years in the semifinals, Wartburg might play at home for next weekend.

Well, when they re rank the teams and put bama above GA, then Texas will have the better win.

Maybe Georgia was not the No.1 team.

Totally irrelevant to the conversation at hand, but you knew that.

The committee would have to go against basically everything they've done in the past to leave out both SEC schools. I am not arguing at all what is right or wrong... just arguing about what I think the committee will do.
