Perhaps this has already been discussed, but one of the reasons they said they dropped FSU was because of the QB injury. With that logic shouldn't they they have been dropped 3 games ago after the QB got hurt? Shouldn't have been in the top 4 before this week anyway...if you use their logic.
That didn’t matter until it became clear the SEC was going to be left out. That’s when it mattered.

In hindsight, what FSU should have done is just lie about the injury Travis suffered. Just keep saying he’s day to day, should be back for the bowl

However, we did play Bama and FAU in back-to-back games. Not many can say that. Not only was Yelk’s FG good (I was right behind the goal post), Seneca was in. Typical.

Kinda.

I'm not sure if two different seasons with two different rosters counts as back to back.

And FSU and Bama weren't exactly in their prime in those two matchups.

The CFB playoff system has been so corrupt since its inception. This will probably be another year I tune out.

Just have to shake my head every time the head of the committee talks. One of the things he talked about was fsu’s offense without their starting quarterback but they stilled had more yards then michigan last night. might as well just tell the truth and say alabama and the sec is more eyeballs and that is what espn wants.

Interesting, I heard ESPN listed LSU as a key win for Alabama and removed it for FSU.

FSU’S backup quarterback won their games by a higher margin against two quality teams than by first string QBs of Alabama, Texas and Michigan against lousy teams.

It’s both, it’s easy to see why it happened. Also bama is better than FSU right now. Putting up 16 on Louisville is sad. I wish FSU was in trust me, but they got the current 4 best teams.
How about needing a fluke play to beat Auburn? The same Auburn team that got Dominated by New Mexico State the week before. Look at the stats from that game. NMSU kicked the **** out of Auburn. Almost double the yardage, won by 21. It wasn’t one of those fluke TO games. Auburn had no turnovers, they just flat out got pounded.

Of all the teams in the playoff hunt as if this morning, the single worst game was Alabama with a fluke against Auburn. If we are going to penalize teams for ugly wins, nothing remotely approaches that pile of crap.

Well, since it appears the SEC was guaranteed a spot in CFP (because everyone knows they have been the best football conference), then the Big 12 should be guaranteed a spot in the Final Four since everyone knows they have been the best basketball conference for the past 8-10 years.

It would be funny if a Florida State grad chairs the NCAA investigation of Michigan.

I just tuned back into this ESPN propaganda show but no Booger. Did I miss him getting fired mid broadcast for not towing the company line?
I thought Joey Galloway was going to get physical with him for questioning the committee.

Probably because FSU played them on the road and Alabama played at home. I’m only assuming, just because of how backwards and nonsensical the committee is.

The NCAA has nothing to do with the CFP. There's no NCAA championship in FBS.

The NCAA doesn’t run the CFP, but it does recognize the winner and declares who can claim the title of national champion. UCF went through this with the NCAA with their undefeated season.

And based on that precedent, if FSU finishes undefeated they should absolutely claim a national title and do the parade and rings. Just like UCF did.
