Just being on LIV alone is reason enough to hate someone. That league is absolutely disgusting. Everything about it basically. Totally selling your soul... dignity... and any integrity you may have had if you join it. It's not even a competitive league... so why would anyone watch it?

So what about Rory? He hits it long as hell, too. Sounds like an unhealthy amount of hatred you got going on here. Have his antics been offputing in the past? Absolutely. The last few years he has gotten a lot better and has a huge following on YouTube and does a lot of stuff with the YouTube golf scene. Very relatable to the average golfer. He is still absolutely quirky as hell but lots of people enjoy it.

I’ve never quite understood the amount of hate Bryson’s received. Maybe I’m missing some of the sound bites from years past? Or perhaps the whole LIV tour angle is the impetus?

How so? He is quirky as hell, sure, but his YouTube channel is great and love for the game is apparent. What does golf need to be so damn stuffy. He’s having fun with the crowd, who the hell cares? And he’s really freaking good.
Haven't seen his (or anyone else's) YouTube channel, don't give a **** what he does with the crowd.........can't stand him. He has been a giant douche going back to college, his love for himself is apparent, he tries way to hard to be likable, other pros ******* hate him, and a few days after committing to the PGA tour he chose to instead take a bunch of oil money from some pretty terrible people.

He once tried to get a free drop from an unplayable lie because of ants nearby.

He's the entitled kid that needed to be humbled by an ass-kicking in high school but never got one.

i guess. he got pretty fortunate. never really got bit by the golf course and the wheels fell off Rory.
Fortunate!? He had to earn a sh*t ton of difficult up-and-downs. Some of his chips were downright legendary, including the save on 18 out of the sand. Rory was making a ton of long putts that he normally does not make. I feel awful for him on those last 2 but he was also “fortunate” that Bryson wasn’t doing anything to extend a lead throughout. And he too didn’t really get terribly punished by the course.

Missing that one on 18 though… damn, it’s why golf is the hardest sport in the world. Total mind f***.

Everything you said was 1,000% accurate.

And yeah it’s obvious you haven’t watched watched him the last couple years. There’s a reason people’s views of him have changed. (Hint: Because he’s grown up a lot, deserves credit for that)

Damn, I don’t think I take anything this seriously.

Correct. I would not take money from known murderers in an attempt to help them look better publicly.......not that hard of a concept.
Hmm. If you want to distance yourself from Saudi money and not support ANY sports or players or companies that tap into it or have a connection to it… you’re going to have a boatload of free time on your hands because you won’t have much to watch on TV!

Annnnnnd I see this thread has been hijacked like normal with stupid bickering and pointless ****.

Back to the golf itself. Hell of a final round to watch. No matter who won, it was quite the finish from a pure golf and entertainment standpoint.
