No doubt that contain blitz resulting in a safety was coached after there were a bunch of blitz and whiffs earlier in the season.
I haven’t watched them since becoming a Cyclone many years ago. Why would I support their viewership and why would I care? Certainly not enough to hate watch them. I’ll check scores but I don’t watch BIG or SEC on principle.I don't watch any hawk games either. Why would I waste time watching a team I hate.
I watched the Georgia Tech-Georgia game hate watching for a Ramblin Wreck victory, but my guess on the Iowa game was there were a couple big running plays by the Hawks, 1 or 2 turnovers, maybe 1 big special teams play, then the game was determined by a FG, likely for Iowa. So like a said, some manufactured "hatred" not shaking hands before the game would have been the peak part of the game, entertainment-wise.I haven't watched a non-ISU Hawk game since I moved out of Iowa back in 2003.
They can easily be avoided.
Son and I just used little shots of fireballs every time good things happened.I feel sorry for the cleanup crew picking up 100,000 handwarmers and their packages from the game.
I’ve never seen so many men hanging out in the bathroom. It was a little weird and made it tough to move around.Things that helped in the cold: blankets to sit on, hand warmers, layers. Insulated coveralls were wonderful until you had to use the porta potty in the tailgate. Moving around was important. Went down before end of half to warm up in the bathroom. Glad I went when I did because 50,000 people had the same idea. Hot chocolate hit the spot.
I noticed they weren’t searching for that kind of refreshment when you walked into the stadium. In fact, there was no searches at all.Son and I just used little shots of fireballs every time good things happened.
Iowa got their TD on a 72-yard run after catch by Kaleb Johnson where Nebraska missed at least 4 tackles. That was literally their one big play. Iowa got one FG after recovering a muffed punt, and their other, winning FG after Nebraska fumbled at their own 36 with under a minute left.I watched the Georgia Tech-Georgia game hate watching for a Ramblin Wreck victory, but my guess on the Iowa game was there were a couple big running plays by the Hawks, 1 or 2 turnovers, maybe 1 big special teams play, then the game was determined by a FG, likely for Iowa. Neither rain, nor sleet…..I’ve never seen so many men hanging out in the bathroom. It was a little weird and made it tough to move around.
And no one comes into our house, and pushes us aroundNot tonight!
If I'm traveling I'll tune them in on the radio, Dolphs new sidekick, doesn't handle being behind well at all. I think he used the N stands for knowledge joke at least 5 times on the broadcast, he is WAY worse than Podalak wasI don't watch any hawk games either. Why would I waste time watching a team I hate.
They asked to see my bag (clear slingback) before going in. That was early-ish as we wanted to get in to see the senior recognition.I noticed they weren’t searching for that kind of refreshment when you walked into the stadium. In fact, there was no searches at all.
He was in the medical tent in the second half. I don’t remember the time, but they were carrying his helmet when he went in. Idk if it was concussion related.Giddens concerned me even more than Johnson going in, beings how UCF's, T Tech's, & KU's RBs torched us, allowing their QB runs to be even more effective. Think the last 2-3 possession by KSU Giddens was not on the field. We either punished him or he was taken out due to ineffectiveness.
My son pulled like 3 beers out during the game. Not sure where he put them and don’t want to know. We had to shake out blankets out but they didn’t check the clear bag. They asked to see my bag (clear slingback) before going in. But no, they didn't check my friend who smuggled a "victory" beer in her coat
I think security was told that whatever keeps them warm and in their seats is okay.I noticed they weren’t searching for that kind of refreshment when you walked into the stadium. In fact, there was no searches at all.
Notice No. 1 how quick gets to the spot on the field which produces the block. No 2 he looks for the ball and sticks his hand where the ball is. He is a stud.
