Kind of like a new piece to an already stacked... I don't even know how to put in words how many dudes we have. JezzNot going to lie, I was not happy when TJ put him on Jones. Boy, oh boy was I wrong.

Just the final 4 will be okIn order to be considered with the 2000 team, they need to win the Big 12 regular season and tournament titles, and make the Elite 8.
This team is really good but it will be a huge task.
Last years team was only ranked 2 spots below that team. Had last years team beat Illinois, it would have been nearly equal results. Houston was a tougher conference opponent than anyone that 1999-00 team facedI was too young to really appreciate the 2000 team even though I watched them. I think this is looking like it might be the best team since then at this point.
Long season of course, and plenty to improve on, and I'm sure they will
Good, B12 was trash in the tourney last year. Now that Kansas and Baylor lost, Big 12 basketball will not be looked at as great
TJ is running really late, but this is kind of a great impromptu general Cyclone sports talk.Blum and Walters on to talking fb. Love it
It’s still a top 3 conferenceNow that Kansas and Baylor lost, Big 12 basketball will not be looked at as great
Heise was a lockdown defender tonight. Made some awesome buckets as well. It looks like he’s still adjusting to the speed of playing against better competition but keeps on improving. As the season goes on I think he will continue to improve and find his way into the second guy off the bench with some big moments.Gilbert was no doubt player of the game...but Heise was instrumental in helping get us that win. He came in and put the clamps on Kam Jones.
Also, don’t forget about Jefferson’s contributions.Gilbert was no doubt player of the game...but Heise was instrumental in helping get us that win. He came in and put the clamps on Kam Jones.
I agree with whoever said it earlier in the thread: Smart is so much more likeable now that he's not at Texas. Nothing but compliments.
They took until February to even get ranked and then peaked at like 6 entering the tourney.
Voters must have just really hated that Drake loss.
Lipsey should play against Iowa as needed and otherwise sit until Big 12 opener. We play a horrible team on Sunday. Lipsey looks off/maybe injured. Is Sunday a good day to sit him and let him rest up for the Iowa game next week? I feel like it might be the necessary move to hopefully get him healthy again.
