Interesting to see Milan on the bench again at end of OT. I get Chatfield brings a different presence (screening, maybe a putback if you have time). But Milan is also a guy that can get his own shot - and a good one. Not to mention floor spacing.

For what it’s worth he was wide open on three point line at end of regulation. Keshon cleared out and made that passing lane open for Jefferson which is obviously your first look.

I wonder how much of that was drawn up and practiced versus how much improvised. Seems like it worked exactly as hoped for

Curt said in the post game the play was meant to be Tamin finish with the option to kick out to Gilbert (if I recall how he said it on the radio)....and this outcome was never practiced...so drawn up and improvised at the end

Heise was guarding the toughest guard on the team - and he did lead the team in rebounds so I would say he didn't have a bad game.

Agree, he did his job on the defensive end. But for this team to hit on all cylinders, which shockingly I don’t think has happened yet this year for an extended period of time, he needs to hit the wide open shots.

This was a game that could have gotten out of hand easily. But in the first half we got easy buckets out of timeouts to stop the bleeding. TJ also controlled the crowd perfectly, every time they would get into it he would use a timeout. Then the management of the late game situation (obviously we had to have a 91% FT shooter miss a front end) was a masterpiece!

The boys also showed a ton of guts. They went into a hostile, upset minded environment and left with win. Well done, gentlemen!

I am so glad TJ is our coach and that we have the staff we do! GO CLONES!!!!
One thing I noticed was the play that end in a transition easy dunk for TTU which surprised me since we rarely see that with our guys not getting back. It was obvious it wasn’t acceptable when TJ immediately called that timeout and the team definitely responded

McCasland has his team ready to play today. They pushed us around on def for at least 1/2 of the game. I was really impressed with Tech. They should be a top 25 team right now.

Their problem is their resume. Despite the metrics saying they're a top 15\20 team, they don't really have the wins. A couple wins at BYU and Utah that are their only Q1\2 wins, and a quad 3 loss to UCF.

They'll have plenty of opportunities to build that resume though. Starting with a Q2 road opportunity at KSU this week and Arizona at home friday.

Tang is the only one I hate. Even Self is growing on me over the years. Most others are respectable and hard not to like.
