Not in a good spot right now. You are 6-9 from 3.
Turnovers improved it was like 9 on ISU to 5 for KSU. Now 12 to 11 ISU vs KSU.

Getting smoked on the boards leading to a lot more shots for KSU.

Normally I am feeling okay if ISU is a bit slow.

But the above numbers are not good. ISU is not going to maintain that 3 point percentage. They gotta win board and turnover battle the 2nd half of they want to win.

KSU has been known to fold in 2nd half. But they are playing today like people thought they would play all year.

You’re saying it’s okay to play lazy, sloppy, uninspired basketball against an inferior opponent at home?
Hey you asked if the team gives a damn… implying they don’t. Which is an idiotic take. Clearly you feel you care more than they do. Which is also idiotic.

I was told all week, this would be the angriest Hilton has been this year. Either ESPN’s production staff mutes the entire crowd or they’re playing in the city morgue. Team is lackadaisical, fans follow suit. Turnovers have been an issue since the Texas Tech game but clearly haven’t been cleaned up.
ESPN sucks and the crowd noise gets affected sometimes but the crowd definitely sounds loud when we score. I feel like Hilton used to be loud the whole game. Like the whole point of playing at home is to get your fans yelling on defense, when the other team is at the line, etc.

Old man yells at cloud.

Even without Milan you would think our defense would get a little better with Watson and Heise getting an increased role and Jones playing even more.

I dont like how many points we're giving up here.
The problem is the defensive benefits are more than offset because the offense is crap, which means more missed shots and live ball turnovers. Other teams can get offense in transition more often with these offensively limited lineups.

I’d been watching how both teams were trending the last few weeks and began to feel less confident in this one.

Watson is in the corner and his defender is top of the key stopping drives.
I'm starting to think we have coaches that have blinders on. We have a freshman that just sits on the bench that I know would have the confidence to be offensive minded. Instead we play a couple guys afraid to do anything with the ball to create. So they play an extra guy to stop the 3 guards that create things. And the 3 have completely sucked at doing a good job.

KState has key players with some foul trouble.

Sorry, but Kansas State is that bad. These guys lost a heartbreaker to Arizona and the crowd is behind ISU. Not showing up is just flat out awful.

He's saying putting on a bad performance doesn't mean the team "doesn't give a damn"

That's a terrible take about a team that plays hard every week.

Given how bad we played (sloppy, etc) I think if we can clean that up, keep defensive pressure up and get some boards, not too worried

It seems like we never score in transition any more unless there's a turnover at the top of the key.
