This team is way better than what they showed today. Oddly I think a loss like this might serve them well going forward to humble them and be looked at as a potential turning point of the season so either it galvanizes them and they go win in The Phog or they let it spiral into a 3 game losing streak. Will be interested to see how they respond because this is rock bottom right now.

After a loss? Bro, we’ve lost 3 out of 4. We lost to the worst team in the conference at home. Get a grip. We aren’t good.
yeah you’re right. Every single statistic out there backs that up.

You should probably stop watching for the rest of the year

People...Iowa State is definitely still a top 25 team (when healthy.) If you don't think ISU is, well, you just haven't watched a lot of other CBB teams. I love what I'm seeing out of DWat. And hate what I'm seeing from a few others.

Momcilovic isn't a magic wand for rebound and hustle plays necessarily, but once Milan comes back (assuming he is pretty much close to his regular self) you will see how much of a difference it makes from Heise to him. Heise just is not a Big XII bball player. Milan has proven he is and a factor player at that. Milan's 3pt shooting and Nowitzki fade away really could've been helpful today on offense.

This! The talent is there. The defense is good. The offense is ugly and has zero flow. Switch to a Hoiberg style offense with a lot of ball movement.
I’d settle for a little off the ball movement.

Instead it’s dribble handoff 35 ft from the basket, a 5 with the ball at the top of the key or Gilbert or Jones dribbling 50 times.

I thought TJ should have used that timeout with 2 seconds left at the end of the Arizona game. I was disappointed he said he wouldn't have done anything differently. Now we will find out how good of a coach TJ is. ISU has been outscored by 30 points over the last 45 minutes. He is going to have to shake things up.

If there was ever a game today would have been the day. But guessing practice has exposed his youth else he would get some run.
Don’t necessarily disagree but at this point why not run him out there instead of Heise just to see what happens?

It’s okay for a “contender” to lose 3 out of 4, including an ass loss to a horrible team at home. The team is horrible right now and without getting a grip we are done. At Kansas on Monday is a loss as well. The team has imploded.
We weren't going to run the table. **** happens and teams get into a funk. But ******* saying that this team isn't good? Get the **** out with that crap. A season is more than few games. Did you think we were bad when we went toe to toe with Auburn? Or manhandled Marquette?

Seriously. You are comical with that this team is bad crap

One more thing . To be a 1 or solid 2 seed you need to be consistent. We are not
That is what makes teams like Houston so good.

Auburn, duke Houston are your one seeds
We just got pushed way back into the pack with 10 other teams on the remaining seeds.
I think we will end up being a 3-4 seed after said and done. Too much film on how to beat us now

I think we finish behind Houston, az, Ku at minimum in the league

I will never understand why Nate Heise plays as much as he does or why we even recruited him. He plays starter minutes and is averaging approximately 0 points and 2 inexplicable turnovers a game.
Agree, but we running out of guys that you can put out there. He's trying to steal 5 minutes here and there right now. Jackson gives us nothing. Keshon is a walking turnover, Tamin has a broken hand. Jones is playing 40 minutes. Milan is out. We running out of guys.

Not sure we know this. He couldn’t be any worse than some other guys getting minutes.

It's bizarre, he (Heise) was a good offensive player at UNI and the MVC is a decent league.

I hope Nojus gets a chance, we need to mix something up after this.

They went hard after him two off seasons in a row. I haven’t the slightest idea of why either. He is terrible. They could have used that scholarship on someone else but were so dead set on him.
