Where do crab legs rank for you?
I’m just curious. I love fish, scallops, shrimp and crab. Lobster doesn’t do much for me.
Crab legs fall into the category of a lot of work to eat without a great payoff. Now, I'm trying to remember if I have ever sprung for King Crab legs. At least you get more meat for the effort than snow crab.

I don't really like peanuts, or any nuts for that matter. I'll eat them if I'm really hungry and there's nothing else around. Same with popcorn.

Agree with In-N-Out and five guys. Overrated.

Edit: Not really a chip person either. I like chips I can dip, like Tostitos, but would almost never choose to eat regular potato chips or even Doritos.

Edit Edit: Y'all gave me more ideas. Never been a fan of fried chicken. Don't hate guac but don't love it either. My kids do. I was never a fan of wings, but there is one place in Loveland that is an exception and ever since I've been there I crave their wings occasionally.

Have you tried the Bofa Brand?

Millet High Life in a bottle is a solid beer and I am historically, not a Miller guy.
Some magazine -- Forbes, maybe? -- did a blind taste test of macrobrews with some well-known craft brewers. Four of the top five were Miller products.
I’ll say it……Hickory Park!
I'm not a huge BBQ person (add that to my list) but I used to like Hickory Park. Last time I was there, it seemed like they microwaved the meat and threw it on a bun and called it good.

In line with the other thread about discontinued foods you want back what are popular snacks/restaurants/drinks you hate.

I don’t like any plain chips. At all. I never buy them. Classic Lay’s or Ruffles or even corn chips. For dipping etc maybe but by themselves? Never.

I hate In-n-Out. Way overrated.

Diet Coke is awful.

Five Guys I will never eat again.

Red Vines are so bad
I think John Daly drinks 30 or more Diet Cokes a day. Smokes burners and drinks a lot of Jack. He seems just fine, hits a good ball.

This happened last weekend…….After the men’s game we met family in Luther at Whatcha Smokin for dinner. After that, the family and I went to Hickory Park for ice cream. Both were fantastic and we got the best of both restaurants.

Unfortunately, HP’s day as a local restaurant titan has passed. It has been a long time, and will continue to be a long time, before I eat a meal there again. Too many other options where their “average” meal will run circles around HP’s food.

Their food had been trending in a not positive direction and then Wheelock sold the business and it will hang around, but the question is, for how long?

I dont have the angst against Hickory Park that some do. I also dont have any delusions it is great BBQ either. I agree they have went down hill.

The reason I go there is because I have a rather picky family, that really dont like much, and dont like BBQ so HP at least has a variety on the menu, and some decent ice cream for the kids.

I mean I took my wife on a date to Cornbread, and there was not a single thing on the menu she was willing to eat. NOT 1!! So for some of us, we take mediocre BBQ instead of no BBQ.

I like all kinds of food.... too much really, I love BBQ, I love Chinese etc and my family hates it. I rarely if ever get the variety I would like because my family has such a narrow food preference.

If their "smash burgers" are actually that thick and not smashed paper thin and over cooked, then I "MIGHT" like them. But as I said, promo photos are not exactly reality 95% of the time. With that being said, I still hold to my original statement that any burger, regardless of how good it is, made with smash burgers, would be made better with non smashed hand formed, patties. Like I have said no matter how good a smash burger is, it would still be better with a non smashed patty.

Thanks again for the GIANT pic because you dont know how to reduce the size. My eyes arent as good as they used to be, so its nice you care.
You are way traumatized by smashed ground beef.

If cooked correctly any burger can be good.

Example, I ate at Sweet Caoline's in Ames Saturday between the men's and women's games. I had a bacon cheeseburger, no smashed. It was not good, was a burnt flame grilled hockey puck. Way overdone. Literally burnt, yet Luke warm when served.

So that no smash burger sucked, nor because it was unleashed but because it was cooked poorly.

Some of my favorite burgers are not smash burgers but I will say when it comes to burgers I have had way more non smash burger failures than smash burger failures.

It's because people think sushi is fancy/cultured. I would rather have good Chinese or Thai over sushi any day.
Not necessarily. I love Chinese and good Thai. But a fresh Toro (fatty tuna) nigiri (served on small ball of compressed rice) dipped in a balanced mix of wasabi and soy is as good as it gets IMO. Just very buttery and fresh and healthy with a little heat kick on the back end, nothing to do with being fancy, at least not for me and our daughters (wife isn't into it).

Chips
Fried chicken
Gauc
Wings
BBQ
