CU is playing great ball. If they aren't going to penalize Texas and Arkansas for losing to South Carolina in the SEC they shouldn't penalize West Virginia for losing to CU.

They have a good coach and good players and you could see the potential once they got used to playing with each other, but it's tough to pull yourself out of the type of tailspin they got in. The bottom of the Big 12 was still pretty decent.

Not sure how the narrative got started that the bottom half of the conference was weak. The so-called "bottom feeders" CU, UCF, and Arizona State were all very competitive in the non conference.

Well that was quite the swing in gambling emotions. Had Northwestern +8.5 and Marquette -2.5 in a parlay. Northwestern hits a meaningless 3 with 5 seconds left to cover, and Xavier hits a meaningless 1/2 courter at the buzzer to **** it up. I hate gambling lol.

Texas in a tight game with aTm with about 10 minutes to go. I would think a aTm loss will likely fully secure a 3 seed for ISU. Do we dare actually cheer for that orange team?

A lot of people talked like the big 12 was 'down' but if you actually looked at the ratings at the end of nonconference season the big 12 rated out about even to the big 12 last year. Which is actually pretty impressive given the big 12 brought in some rather unimpressive basketball teams.

Its just that the SEC stepped it up in a major way this year.

Testifying
The other day I noticed the age of players for the Bama Auburn games.
This is basically Kenpom's "typical lineup."
Lets compare the SEC vs B12

Bama 4 seniors
Auburn 4 seniors
FL 3 seniors
TN 4 seniors
UK 4 seniors

Houston 2 seniors
Tech 2 seniors
Zona 1 senior
BYU 2 seniors
ISU 3 seniors

A justifiable reason why the SEC was the best conference this year.

I don't care if UT beats TAMU. No team should be let into the NCAA tournament with a 6-12 conference record.

That win alone won't do it, but we have to prepare for the possibility SEC could get 14 teams into the field.

The # of bid-thieves + at-large contenders is dwindling fast, and OU and UT still have at least one game to play.

Others on the fringe, like Ohio State and Xavier, can't help themselves.
