    This I absolutely agree with. If he had anything more than the one year left I would be pretty ****** with the trade. But for just one year at 3.5 million I don't mind the pick up. We have made much worse trades (see Texeira trade, both of them).

    He's not going to be (or at least shouldn't be) depended on to be great. They are looking for a solid veteran presence to solidify the back of the rotation and help out the young kids, especially Kimbrel. Probably overpaid a little but not to the point that it's going to keep them from doing...

    The contract was terrible not the pitcher. He has a 3.5 ERA in his career as a lifelong setup guy. Pretty solid. And the best news as a Braves fan - we can at least assume Freddi won't send him out there 90 times this season.

    Yeah I thought about that but it would bother me too much knowing I was paying for a data plan and using my home wifi instead. I think I know my answer I was just hoping someone here would convince me otherwise.
