so far all of the kids seem like they could be a solid foundation for rebuilding the foot ball team. the staff realizes it just has to put in as much effort as the can to get us a little better each step of the way. A little bit of progress will cause success to snowball for us.

You do realize that your ranking is mainly due to the number of commits you have now vs other teams, and not so much the quality or rankings? To put it in perspective Kansas avg recruiting ranking is higher than yours.
And still in last place on class average player rating of 83.49!
And 10 average players is like 5 TIMES better than 2 average players at this time last year.
The 83.49 is still better than last years' average class rating of 82.66 for almost a percentage point improvement.

That is a lie and you know it. This class will end up in the top 25 at worst. Will more than likely be ahead of Iowa come signing day.

What a lot of people are forgetting is that Coach Campbell and Staff had a lot to do with last year's class being as good as it was. For a more complete picture you need to go back to 2015 and earlier to get a better idea of how our classes were rated. There is no doubt that Coach Campbell and Staff are doing a great job of recruiting. We do not even have one single recruit rated less than .8032 according to 247 Sports and all 10 recruits are 3 stars. That is great.
You do realize that your ranking and win totals last year wasn't so much the quality of your team, rather the fact that your D1 opponents in the regular season (before the b1g champ and bowl game in case you don't know what that means) had an overall winning percentage of roughly 41%. To put it into perspective, Illinois had a better overall winning percentage than your average opponent.
I don't think most of us here are expecting our class to be in the top 25 at the end of the year. The positive momentum is off the charts right now though. We've got a large class, filled with quality players, really early in the year. That's not the norm for ISU.
We don't have to get tons of 4 stars to become a solid football team. We need a large number of solid recruits to come in and work hard. If we keep doing that, we'll get some of the 4 star cherries on top eventually.

I know you are being a troll, but when you look at the history if ISU recruiting it should be blatantly clear why ISU fans are excited about this. Now go back to Hawkeye Report and discuss "little brother" and why you need Kirkwood students to fill up Kinnick
