When did they start wearing the Stay Puft Marshmallow Helmets for practice? I don't remember that before? Player safety being what it is, I'm surprised everybody doesn't wear one.

Peavy, Hobbs, Johnson. Iowa State has had good luck with 5'9 Corners.

Hell, Jeremy Reeves was 5'7 and a good CB. Young showed he was very good last year.

Have they broken ground yet on the new buildings on the north side of the stadium? That new facility and plaza will be awesome.

No. They took core samples in the fall but no signs of breaking ground yet.

Datrone will be on Peavy's level quickly. I was really impressed by him and it seemed ISU's pass defense took a slight hit when ISU lost him to injury

Both Young and Johnson played very well at corner last year as freshman. I am not worried about them just need to find that 3rd corner.

IMO loosing Eni was a biger deal to our defense. A dominant d-line helps young corners more than anything else
