True...which is great for anyone! But if he drops to say...20...it would be uncomfortable to watch. I hope he falls to the Steelers at #24 but that ain't happening!

If he gets into the teens I would want the Steelers to move up a bit to get him. Shouldn't cost a ton to move up from 24 to say 14.

AGREE! This would be ideal! And to be honest, Ben wouldn't like it because it would mean they aren't adding to "his" arsenal for his last year but it would set the Steelers up well for life after Ben (which might as well have begun halfway thru last season)!

They need so much to actually compete this year, they'd probably be smart to take OL instead and build the team up in the draft for the next few years. Worry about QB once Ben is gone, but it would be hard to pass up a potential franchise QB.

They're almost never bad enough to have a high enough pick to get a QB unfortunately.

Yep...one of the most difficult things about the Steelers rebuilding thru the draft is exactly what you said! A bad year is .500 so they will never get that "elite" guy unless they make a massive trade. If they have a chance to grab Lance in the mid teens they should! But agree...they have a lot of needs to fill for this upcoming season. If they can get the QB they should do it...otherwise the picks may well be good picks but they won't be "sexy"!

I'd like to see what all of those picks are, but that's a pretty big deal. Good for Baltimore because Brown didn't want to play RT and they didn't need him at LT. Getting a first round pick for a guy that might not start is always good.
And for KC, getting a pro bowl LT is potentially a huge win. Giving up a first round pick plus change is steep, but how many pro bowl tackles were going to be available at their spot in the first round?

Cheifs window to win is NOW. Not in the business of potentially landing a development at LT for the NFL's #2 star and future of the sport. Love this trade for KC. Mahomes can manipulate his cap to make sure they can sign him.

Kinda hoped Minnesota could trade a 2022 2nd to get get him and not be forced into massive needs at 2 spots along their line with an immobile QB

That seems pretty decent for both sides. KC still has two second round picks this year plus a pro bowl LT. Baltimore gets a bevy of picks.
Hard to find fault on either side

Bears need OL, CB and QB. Sure would be nice to have a Top 10 pick this year it also helps that 5 QBs will be taken before the Bears draft at #20. That leaves the Bears getting a Top 15 non QB player.

DC, I don't know why you keep pegging Dallas to take a CB in round 1. Of course that is clearly their biggest need but that is exactly why I think Jerry won't do it. He will once again get mesmerized by some shiny new toy and will take his eyes off the ball.

Wonder if that means KC won't resign Osemele? After that brutal double-knee injury, I wouldn't be surprised if he retired.

Agree. My hope now is that the Vikes can trade up and get Slater.
Not sure what slot that's most likely to be and what other team they have to make sure they get ahead of.

I've seen Slater mocked to the Chargers at #13 quite a bit but not sure he even lasts that long.
