Tell me how you feel about Paul Casey nowI know there is an all encompassing golf season thread, so if this should be merged into that, I’ll let the mods decide. I feel The Masters deserves it’s own thread, and I didn’t see another.
From a golf pick ‘em perspective (I’m sure some out there have seen this), here are my guys this year:
1. Jon Rahm
2. Cam Smith
3. Tony Finau
4. Paul Casey (makes me want to vomit)
5. Webb Simpson
6. Gary Woodland
7-9. Kevin Kisner
At the end of the day, the best 5 are my scoring team in a pool I’m in with some buddies. Anyone else doing this?
ESPN+ coverage about the start.
Yeah, everyone looks like they're trying to putt hand grenades through a minefield on the greens. Almost look like me putting out there.Sheesh, not a lot of good golf getting played right now.
Figures. I assume his hatchet wound has come undone again.Tell me how you feel about Paul Casey now
He's such a putz.Tell me how you feel about Paul Casey now
Totally agree. Can’t stand him. I honestly thought he would play well for 3 rounds and then semi blow up late Sunday as per usual. Didn’t expect him to withdraw though. Guy played in the par 3 yesterday, for **** sake. He's such a putz.
Same thing as masters.com for those folks with an extra monitor at workTiger was my favorite athlete growing up, just thrilled to see him out there again all things considered. Masters week is always such a blast, excited that I'm off all 4 days and can watch pretty much the whole thing.
The Masters app is easily my favorite amongst the major apps, you can watch featured groups, featured holes, TV broadcasts, all without signing in. Highly recommend if folks haven't checked it out.
The every shot thing is so great. You hear so-and-so made an 8 on 13 and you can go see how it happened.Tiger was my favorite athlete growing up, just thrilled to see him out there again all things considered. I was listening to something the other day and they talked about how The Beatles never experienced "The Beatles." They were the only people in the world who didn't know what it was from the outside. When you put Tiger into that perspective, it had to be a very weird deal. Imagine being obsessed with golf but never truly experiencing the whole arc of Tiger Woods career from this side.I was in high school when Tiger burst on to the scene so I've always been a fan. With hat being said he lost me for a bit in the early to late 2000's, I just couldn't stand how he carried himself on the course and how he treated other golfers. His whole divorce/"addiction" seemed to really humble him and I've been pulling for him ever since. If he could be in contention come this weekend that would be amazing.
