Those shots 50 yards and in are sometimes the hardest to knock the rust off of.Ouch. A 6 on the 8th is not great, Bob.
Hardest shots in golf regardless, IMO.Those shots 50 yards and in are sometimes the hardest to knock the rust off of.
That and tennis I've had the same experiencesEveryone I've ever taken out to hit golf balls for the first time or taken out to play has the same "damn I really thought this would be easier" response generally.

He doesn't exactly have the swing of a steady, consistent player. He’s f’d mentally. Has been for awhile. He honestly should shut it down for a bit.
Neither do/did guys like Furyk or Ray Floyd. Doesn’t matter what the swing looks like. Though, I do prefer to watch a guy like Oosthuizen swing itHe doesn't exactly have the swing of a steady, consistent player.
Agreed (on both). Oosthuizen's swing is a thing of beauty.Love Oosty. Probably my favorite golfer now (Couples will always be #1).
When we were dating, I took my wife out to Beaver Creek. 1st hole, I hit my drive down the middle, hit my second to about 3', and put it in for birdie. Thought she would be suitably impressed, but nope, she had no idea that it was anything special. My wife got into golf the last few years. She didn't realize how hard it is. I told her that its a sport people can play their entire lives and never fully master. She now sees how impressive some of the things these golfers are going each round.
