Not sure what you mean about you guys. I love the fact we have the Carrs. We only need to create about 9 other positions to keep up with everyone.

I know you won't tell me, but I'd like to know who on the inside you heard this from. I'm hoping it wasn't someone high up on our staff based on how far off that info was....Your info is usually solid.
Just because Riggins committed to Iowa doesn't mean Buf was off. Kids change their mind.
It would be interesting to know what changed if someone on the inside really believed we were the front runner or close to it.
What was weird is I heard the Michigan visit was unofficial. Then heard he liked Purdue.
I believe it might of been down to those 2 or 3 prior to visiting Iowa. That had to be a great atmosphere for a recruiting visit & it is Iowa.

Now the Martinson twins (class of 22 I believe) to Iowa the in state talent is really starting to become slim pickings for us. Who’s all left in state that we have a shot at Block, Garvin, Tate Nak. I’m sure I’m missing a few but the they are cleaning house this week.
He was off. Riggins's GF is an athlete at Iowa. He is good, but not an "Iowa style" type wrestler. This is why it surprises me.

These 3 are room type guys imo. Nothing wrong with that.
None of these 3 are top 10 (maybe top 15) in-state recruits. I would place Garvin, Voelker, Taylor, Avila, Hill, J. Jesuroga and Villaescusa as remaining top 10 guys. ISU already have Fousek, IA has Riggins and UNI has Buss.

If you are counting 2023 Keuter is the other top Iowa recruit. It will be interesting to see how the two sport thing works for him.

I am friends with the Griffith family. They are good people. Congrats to Mickey, even though he is going to the dark side.
For 2022, I think the big targets are Ysaguirre, Garvin, and Voelker
