Thanks for this list. I'm wondering if we don't have a whole lot of $$ for the 2022 class. So far i think this is our class for 2022
Manny Rojas 170lbs Ranked #1 for weight class and #6 overall P4P
Casey Swiderski 138lbs Ranked #2 for weight class
2021's class was the following
Damon Huston Midland IA 125/133 Iowa State Sam Hrabovsky Fulton MO 133/141 Iowa State Conor Knopick Millard South NE 141 Iowa State Paniro Johnson Erie Prep PA 157 Iowa State Jack Gaukel Sergeant Bluff-Lluton IA 157/165 Iowa State Caleb Helgeson Johnston IA 174/184 Iowa State Ashton Barker Iowa City West IA 184 Iowa State Gabe Greenlee Ames IA 285 Iowa State Nate Schon Selinsgrove PA 285 Iowa State
Here's my list by Weight of 1) Who's leaving that might have $$ to pass on and who's currently at that weight and might demand $$ (vs walk on type guy)
125 - Mackall // Kysen (Knopick is listed in wrestlestate as 125??)
133 - Gomez (I think this $$ became available last year and used in 21 class) // Redding
141 - Parker (same - used for 21 class) & Todd Small (was he getting any $?) // Knopick, Hrabovsky,
149 - Degen (same - 21) // Robinson
157 - no Sr // David Carr, Jack Gaukel
165 - Sr transfer Kraisser (Not sure he demands much $$), Schumacher, Parino Johnson
174 - no Sr // Broderson,
184 - no Sr // Shaprio
197 - no Sr // Yonger Bastida, Cody Fisher
285 - Gremmel $ // Schuyler (transfer), Greenlee & Schon
Overall - Mackall & Gremmel are the only two guys that have I think might have freed up $$. It's my understand that Gremmel was very smart and probably had a lot of academic $$. My primary point is that I don't expect a huge class like last year because the $$ just isn't there. That said I'm sure there will be plenty that panic when we don't sign a bunch of blue chip guys.
