I’ll watch Iowa State, but this year, not interested in the playoffs. It’s getting to be the Miss America pageant for men.
Does that mean the Sark, Saban, DeBoer and Harbaugh have to wear swimsuits? That's their section of the program right?

If I were FSU, I’d very publically change their policy to no longer disclose injuries in any sport. And no longer allow ESPN sideline reporters to keep them from reporting on what they see on the sidelines. If the CFP committee wants to penalize for injuries, make sure that no injury information ever gets out.

The kid's leg snapped in half on the field in front of the whole world. Everyone knew he wasn't playing again this season.

But yes.. had Travis torn his ACL... it would have been best to NEVER report it. That's where we are at folks.

Funny the committee didn’t question Michigan when they lost their coach to cheating. But have a kid go down with a injury, oh no, can’t have that!

Michigan gets busted for cheating not only once this year... but twice! Yet, they are still #1 in the country... so cheating is encouraged then or what?

And also... do NOT ever let anyone know about the severity of any injuries from here on out.

But at this point it doesn’t matter for football this season. I’m saying complete blackout for all sports including basketball. If the media is going to take sides, then hit them where it hurts, information.

When hasn’t it been? Unless you’re a small brand school. Then it’s the death penalty

Does the ACC and Big 12 merge because of this?

No. But I’d guess this will complicate the CFP format negotiations for beyond ‘24. Smaller conferences need to band together to make sure they aren’t railroaded.

If that will throw a huge wrench in everything.... then I'm all for it. Getting so sick of college football the last several years.

Big 12 should just add Stanford, Cal, Oregon St, and Washington St... and then merge with the ACC.

Do whatever is needed to just F this system up beyond belief IMO.

Not exactly sure.

So that makes a 30ish team conference? B10 and SEC would be giddy about this. Then 1 playoff spot will go to our mega conference champ and maybe an at-large or 2, then the rest come from the big 2. No thanks

What if the Big12 and ACC aligned with the smaller conferences and pulled out of the CFP completely? Just go ahead and create the P2 system by putting the SEC and Big10 on an island. Put rules in place to keep CFB balanced and let those two conferences do their own thing.

How would that pay? Self relegation lucrative?

There's no way FSU doesn't try sueing someone or something over this.

Would they have a better case than American and MWC? Or Big 12 when they put clearly inferior resume Ohio State in?

Maybe the SEC non conf games mean something. They do logically but not sure legally.

So do what they want? We do that and the big ten and SEC will pick a few teams and just call it good.

It's really too bad that the Big 12 and Pac 12 didn't just merge years ago. I bet the Pac 12 wish they had done that now.
