When Sinner is neutralizing shots out wide with that forehand slice—he's had to utilize it a lot against Alcaraz—it's game over. His groundstrokes are too good. It's very hard to dictate off of them, especially when you're 39. And when he occasionally leaves a ball short and you attack, only for him to get a low slice back, you basically have to create Federer-like angles to keep control of the point. Otherwise he's got you in no man's land and is loading up the heavy topspin. I wish I had a clip of the point I'm thinking of, but Sinner went from reaching for a ball on the run to hitting a winner in a flash
 
Zverev is playing great but Sinner was really just a victim of the structure of tiebreaks there. The question will be if he sloughs it off mentally knowing he’s playing very well too, or if his level drops
