We have some meteorologists who I like to hear from, I don't understand why people get their panties in a bunch over weather threads.

Because anyone can go on weather sites and gain as much knowledge as the so called experts claim to know.

Its no different than any other topic. There is always 1 a-hole that needs to get in a smart-azz comment.
Unfortunately....its become a CF trait.
Its no wonder the most knowledgeable posters just read and don't post much anymore.

Amen to this.. Seems that every thread I read anymore has some dbag putting his worthless 2 cents in with a smartass comment.

Well there are two sides to this story. Clones21 starts threads like they are going out of style like: what's your guy's favorite bread? what's your guy's favorite couch color, etc.
But there are also people who open threads to only ***** about why somebody posted a thread about that topic when they can just not open it or worry about it.

Because several posters are ignorant of the fact that ISU has a Meteorology program and that it would stand to reason that there would be ISU alums with an interest in it and who also enjoy discussing it.

Don't anticipate much for storms tomorrow, warmfront should stay south of the state keeping the best threats in north/central Missouri. I 80 and south will see some thunderstorms but they shouldn't be severe, the rest of Iowa just spring rain.

The weather system to watch is this weekend, Saturday and Sunday look like they could have some very intense storms.

True.
Picking this thread and OP was a bad example on my part.
Original sentiment still exists though.

Oh yeah, no big deal to me, but there are some people who get, as Angie would say: snarky.
I was honestly interested in the weather as I am trying to get some miles on the bike.

I hear it's suppose to be cloudy, with a chance of meatballs? Can anyone confirm for me? I think those meatballs could do a lot of damage to my car so I might move it over to the parking garages on campus!
